Effective daily supplement that supported my conception journey with PCOS
I was diagnosed with PCOS and was having a lot of issues with fertility. My doctor told me to take this and I have to say this worked really well for me. This Ovasitol really helped with sugar cravings and contributed to producing better egg quality to help get me pregnant. I noticed that after drinking this regularly, my sugar cravings decreased and I was able to manage weight a little better. My blood sugar levels were thankful for this as well. I even saw a decrease in acne as a result of having less sugar. I not The biggest change for me was that my cycles became more regular again while trying to conceive. I also have endometriosis and had previously been on birth control that skipped placebo pills, so it took time for my body to regulate, but the Ovasitol helped me with that transition. I canโt speak to sleep improvements or period pain relief, since I didnโt notice a big difference there personally. Taking this daily is super easy. You just mix it with water and there is barely a taste to it. The only annoying part is that the powder sometimes collects at the bottom, so always give your drink a good stir or shake to make sure you are drinking the entire thing. One thing I will say is that it is pretty bulky and does not store in cabinets easily. Overall, this was an effective part of my routine and Iโm still taking it even now. Iโm currently a mom to a healthy baby boy, and while everyoneโs experience is different, Iโm glad I tried it and stayed consistent.

I highly recommend this!
I started taking myonistol on my doctor's recommendation for help with egg quality and infertility. I prefer this brand over the pills because it's easier to take. I just mix a scoop with a glass of water twice a day and use that to take my other vitamins and supplements. You can't even taste it. I did start with half the dose for the first week or two until my body adjusted to it. I had mild gastrointestinal upset and a light headache for the first few days, but that went away completely. I've been taking it for 3 months now, and I haven't conceived yet, but I wasn't really expecting it to be this miracle product. I'm in my 40s after all. What I didn't expect, was for this product to help so much with easing my OCD, anxiety, brain fog, and period pain. I have been virtually period pain free (that's a miracle for me, as I have debilitating periods) and felt more mentally stable since I started taking this product. I'm sleeping better and have more energy, too. My doctor suspects that I have lean PCOS, and I'm definitely in early perimenopause. I have been recommending this product to my friends, and a couple of them have experienced positive results as well. For $1 a day, this product is by far the most valuable supplement in my arsenal.

Weird reaction initially, but now I love it.
2/6/23: I started taking ovasitol 2 days ago at the recommended dose of 4000mg daily. My PCOS symptoms have been getting worse recently and I wanted to give this a try since Iโm doing everything the same as what worked in the past for PCOS that my doctor had prescribed with the exception of taking metformin (I moved and have to find a new provider who actually knows how to treat PCOS so I donโt have access to it right now and was hoping this would help in a similar fashion). I had a mild headache after my first dose but it subsided after a few hours. The next morning I woke up with a rash on my chest and neck. It wasnโt itchy, but I had a bunch of tiny red bumps that were uncomfortable to touch and gradually worsened throughout the day. I took the same dosage that second day because none of the research I had done mentioned a rash being a side effect but by the evening it had gotten worse and I ended up taking some Benadryl before bed because I was still trying to determine the cause of the rash. Adding ovasitol is the only change I can think of. Itโs been about 20 hours since my last dose and the rash is clearing up (the attached photo is from about 12 hours after the last dose). After researching side effects even more I found some others also broke out with a rash. Some were able to lower the dosage and gradually build it up or just kept going on the normal dose and it eventually cleared up while for other people the rash continued to get worse until they stopped taking it. Iโm really bummed that I had this reaction because it seems many people with PCOS have had really good responses to inositols. Iโm still debating if I want to attempt to take a lower dose to see if it helps and risk the rash flaring up again once it finally subsides completely. Update 6/25/23: The rash took about a week to subside. And after a month or two I decided to give it another try but start with a very small dose and see if I can work my way up. I started taking 1/16 tsp once a day and gradually was able to work up to the full recommended dose without any more rash issues. I did notice mild to moderate headaches the days that I increased the dosage, but they subsided after a day or 2 until the dosage increased again. Iโve been taking the full dosage for a few months now without any rash and no more headaches. My periods which have been irregular for as long as I can remember regulated within a month so it definitely seems to be doing something positive. Iโm ordering more. So if anyone has a bad reaction initially, try to start with a small dosage and gradually increase. Wish it stated this on the packaging. Update 8/13/25: I have been taking this for 2 years now without any further issues. It has made a huge difference helping me to regulate my period and has seemed to help with other PCOS related symptoms as well. It is completely tasteless and dissolves well in hot or cold drinks. I have recommended this to several friends dealing with similar issues and they have had good results as well. If youโre on the fence, it is worth a try.

Worked great for hirsutism, hormonal acne, insomnia
This stuff surprised me. Not diagnosed with PCOS, but developed symptoms related to insulin resistance and high androgen levels, many of which overlapped with PCOS, so I gave this a try. My symptoms: mild but sudden hirsutism; hormonal acne; suddenly never feeling tired, never sleeping (which developed into some weird insomnia where I was mentally exhausted but also ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM); extreme food cravings (especially sweets) Treated? Hirsutism; hormonal acne; sleep/insomnia/energy issues Untreated? Food cravings (I think this one is from working a brainless job that leaves me unsatisfied) It took an entire bottle (three months) to REALLY see results. And I used it consistently, following package directions. During the first two weeks, I had mild stomach issues. Nothing major, and they resolved. They're fully gone now. I have zero side effects. I've never been on birth control, and my cycle has been pretty normal for my entire life, happening once a month, not perfectly like clockwork, but close, and they've been pretty average in volume, save a random month where I'll just bleed REALLY HARD, but that rarely ever happened. When I first started taking this, my cycles went crazy. Sometimes I would bleed in the middle of a cycle, but only a little and it would stop. Then I would bleed SUPER, SUPER hard during my actual period. Now it's like clockwork. No middle bleeding. Light for a few days, heavy for a couple days, done. I do think my periods got slightly heavier, but it's not significant. Hirsutism took three months to really show any improvement. I was shaving in the meantime, once a week. Now the usual soft peach fuzz is what grows back on my face, and I don't shave anymore. Hormonal acne cleared up fairly quick, but I wasn't having all-over breakouts, just really big, ugly, deep ones on my chin/jaw. I used other acne treatments to fend them off, and then they just stopped coming. Weird sleep/insomnia stuff went away pretty fast. I feel like normal again. Flavor of this is good! It's mildly sweet, but barely noticeable in a small cup of water morning and night. I highly recommend this brand, and I've already got several other people interested in taking this. I think it works. I'm on my second jar now and will keep taking it for the foreseeable future. I recommend it, but PLEASE follow the instructions and give it the whole three months (at least) and see what it can do. Nothing in the body is ever "instant fix". Give this a chance to help your body restore itself. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. Good luck!

Finally Something That Supports My Body, Not Fights It
After dealing with PCOS and insulin resistance for years, itโs exhausting to feel like your body is always working against you. Ovasitol has been one of the few things that actually made me feel supported instead of frustrated. With consistent use, I noticed fewer cravings, more stable energy, and a sense that my hormones were finally calming down. It doesnโt taste like anything, mixes easily, and fits into my daily routine without stress. This isnโt magic and itโs not overnight but itโs real. It gave me hope again that my body can respond when I give it the right support. For anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of trying everything, this is worth it. Yes, it costs more, but for me, feeling more balanced and in control of my health is priceless. I will continue using it and highly recommend it to anyone navigating PCOS or blood sugar challenges.

Dissolves well
The product has no weird taste and dissolves very well. The bottle is pretty much half empty though and this is brand new.

Worth a try.
I like the individual packets as itโs easy to travel with and also be consistent with how much you take. It definitely works well to help you get a cycle and get regular. I like that itโs a natural product and can help with sweet cravings as well. It doesnโt ruin the taste of whatever you put it in. It has a very slightly sweet taste which is perfect in a cup of coffee or tea.

We'll see
Tl;dr: I've been on this kind of supplement for a while due to PCOS and switched brands due to how sketchy the other brand is. No issues/side effects/concerns yet, but I plan to update this if there are any. Only doing one scoop per day right now to assess how my body responds. I've been using a myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol blend for quite a while prior to getting this brand. I was originally using one sold by Micro Ingredients, but the shadiness was just too much for me to risk it just to save a few bucks (claiming it's lab tested but customer service is non-existent so you can't even get proof, lawsuits against the company, finding a stray textile strand in the product, etc.), so I decided to just get this one to try instead. I received it on 3 April and started using it a couple of days after, when the last of my other one ran out. My review is going to have comparisons. Reasons I take this: I have PCOS, which comes with all the fun things like: irregular periods, hirsutism, difficulty losing weight, carb cravings, acne, the fun stuff. This type of product has helped with that immensely, as the hirsutism was showing in spots on my breasts and on my jawline/face/neck. I've also got the fun bouts of acne along my jawline that just randomly sprout up and go away (as they do). Taste: I've noticed that this brand does not have an aftertaste to it. You can tell that something is different about the water (not quite bitter on the back of the tongue, just different, if that makes sense), but there's nothing that really makes it taste sweet, salty, bitter, nothing like that. The other brand, however, had a sweet aftertaste, which makes me think they were adding other things to it, but I don't know. Maybe different sourcing, but still suspicious. Dosing/serving size: On the previous brand, I was double-dosing to get the results I wanted (I was able to do one dose a day for the first few months, but then the hirsutism was flaring again, so I had to start doing two), but this one I'm only doing one scoop a day right now to assess how effective it is. If I wind up needing to increase doses, I'll update my review. I've been using this brand since ~5 April and it's now 19 April. Side effects: I haven't noticed any side effects yet. I do know that (at least with the previous brand) when I was taking two doses, I would get nauseous, so I started taking it around the time I'd eaten and that solved it. This one I've taken without food (a single dose) and been fine. If I have to start taking two doses and experience nausea, then I will update my review for that. Ingredients: No complaints about them so far, seems good. I haven't reached out to the company yet to see if they provide lab results, but if they do, I'll update the review for that and their customer service. Mood: Haven't noticed any changes yet. It's 19 April as of writing this review, and I don't know that my mood will improve, as it didn't on the previous one, either (that I recall). We'll see. Energy: No changes so far. Could be due to my lifestyle, but my energy levels haven't been great for a long time. We'll see. PCOS issues: now, with the previous supplement, I noticed it improved my issues, but didn't necessarily stop them (like the hirsutism, it didn't stop it, it just slowed it down). Ovulation was normal on that one (I didn't track it, I just went by the physical cues). We'll see if my cycle stays regular with this new one and how the hirsutism and other issues do. Cravings and acne I haven't seen a change in yet, but time will tell. I'm hoping I don't need to double-dose (this brand is expensive), but I guess I'll find out soon enough if I need to up it. I will also note that I've started an additional supplement called ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) with added biotin, so I'm not JUST taking this one anymore, so please keep that in mind as well (I started it on 17 April). ALA is supposed to help with weight, egg quality, lower triglyceride levels, and lower glucose and insulin levels (if you look into this one to go along with your ovasitol, the R-isomer type (natural) is more recommended than the S-isomer type (synthetic) due to its bioavailability. I messed up and got one that's 50/50 (I didn't research it before I bought it), so that's where I'm at now lol), so they're supposed to be a power team together. According to what I've found online (thank you, PCOS Nutritionist Alyssa), when you combine inositol and ALA, there's improvement in your cycles, reduced androgens (a hormone; the most common androgen is testosterone), anti-Mullerian hormones (AMH) (plays a role in fetal development), BMI and insulin levels. If I haven't said it enough already in this review: we'll see. That's the tagline.
