The Sourdough Starter that Blew Me Away - Easy, Versatile and Delicious!
Wow, I'm blown away by this sourdough starter! As someone who has tried making starters from scratch before, I know how time-consuming and frustrating that process can be. This starter completely eliminates those pain points. The convenience factor is off the charts - simply mix the powder with water and flour, and within 10 hours you have an active, bubbling starter ready to go. No more weeks of daily feedings and obsessively watching for signs of life. But the real magic is in the results. The loaves I've baked with this starter have an incredibly light and airy texture with just the right amount of sourdough tang. Not too sour, not too bland - that perfect middle ground of flavor that's so versatile for all kinds of baked goods from bread to pizza to pancakes. As a gluten-free baker, I love that this starter isn't made from wheat flour, so I can use my preferred gluten-free flours with no issues. And the probiotic cultures seem to really help break down what gluten is present for better digestibility.Seriously, this starter is a total game-changer, especially for us impatient home bakers! The unleashed potential of being able to whip up a fresh loaf of real sourdough on a whim is amazing. No more feeling limited to preservative-laden store-bought bread. I'll never go back to my old starter woes again!

Update to previous review
My last review said it didn’t work I was just about to throw it out after 12 hours and thought I will put some more flour it right before bed. Sure enough the next morning it was starting to increase and bubble. I don’t think the instructions called for enough flour.

Revolutionary Convenience in Sourdough Starters
This sourdough starter is nothing short of a revolution in the baking world! Gone are the days of daily feeds and the stress of maintaining a live starter. I purchased a two-pack, ensuring I'm covered should my starter meet an untimely demise - a simple reorder is all it takes. Traditional starters can take over a week to develop, but this product had me ready to bake in just a day! Despite the cooler temperatures of winter slowing things down slightly, the process was remarkably swift, and I anticipate even quicker results as the weather warms up. For anyone who values their time but loves the authenticity of homemade sourdough, this starter is a game-changer. It's incredibly empowering to have the ability to whip up a fresh sourdough loaf on a whim, without the prior week-long preparation. This product has earned a permanent spot in my baking arsenal.

Started slow but ended up fine
This was a unknown brand that I took a chance on. Only issue was it started like 36 hrs later compared to where it says 12hrs. But overall nice and bubbly, learned a little from the video they link to. Overall it's good.

It works so well!
Mixed the gluten free starter with Bob's Red Mill GF flour and filtered water at 11am and by 9pm, it had doubled with plenty of bubbles so I feed it and by 20 hours from the start with 1 extra feed, it looked like this (the photo shows it at the 600 mark). I had to discard because it was nearly to the top and made a loaf from it. I feed it again and it's already back up to the 700 line after only 2 feeds. At this rate, I'll be able to make a loaf a day.I had tried starting sourdough on my own, but it's never worked out because I travel often or I would get wrapped up in life and didn't feed it at the right times because I didn't see my efforts amounting to anything, but this mix took the guess work out of the process and made it so I could enjoy my own gluten free sourdough bread just 30 hours after I mixed up the starter dough.

Didn't rise.
I used ww and bread flour, water and the pack. I don't think it takes a genius to mix flour and water. But here we are. This is after 12 hours. The scent is amazing. Just like yeast but no rise. I have some rye, maybe that can jump start it. Idk.
