I had been experiencing difficulty with static when trying to run output from two different Focusrite external audio boxes into my hi-fi system. This is an excellent cable that does not produce any static. The sound quality is excellent! Crisp and clear, just as you would expect. The cable is well-made with a nice braided cable. Overall, it is a great value!

I had two speakers that have 1/4 plugs and I wanted to connected them to my computer's 1/8 port. This Y splitter did the trick and it sounds great. I just wished the slit part of it was longer. The max that I could set the speakers apart was a foot away from each other because the slit was so short. I'll probably have to get an extension in the future so the speakers can be set farther apart.

Good sound quality at a reasonable price. My concern is with the build quality. The sleeves over the end of the connectors are not crimped, nor do they appear to be glued. Because of this, when you pull on the sleeve to remove the plug from a jack (since you're not supposed to pull on the cable itself, of course), the sleeve slips off. My student audio tech who was using this didn't realize the problem, so we had only one channel audio on a recent recording when the plug was not inserted fully (because the sleeve had slipped).

This breakout cable is really nice for someone who is just getting into heavy audio equipment and needs something for this use. Very durable cable as it is wrapped in the nylon that isn't soft. It's actually a very rough cable but that being said, I've run over it a couple times with my truck on an accident and they still work perfectly fine and it doesn't look like they have a scratch on them. The sound quality is perfect for someone who it doesn't care about. High-end audio rather than fun bass and loudness

This breakout cable is a must have for your home studio. It solves several compatibility issues between 1/8 inch STEREO headphone outputs and devices that have 1/4 inch MONO inputs (or vice versa).The cable had no pops, buzzing, or squeals when in use.It's great for:Phone stereo headphones out, to mixer tracks 1 and 2, then out to power amp.Recorder mono tracks 1 and 2, into stereo mic input on phone or any other 1/8 inch stereo input.As reasonable priced and handy as this cable is I would recommend you get one just to have on hand. This is my second one. At some point there is a very high likelihood you will have an opportunity to use this and have it save the day. So get one for your gig bag to have on hand before that time comes.

The media could not be loaded.  This 3.5mm to dual 6.35mm cable is pretty good and helps me connect a Comica VM30 shotgun microphone to a Tascam DR-40X recorder.The audio quality is better than connecting the shotgun microphone straight into my camera.My only complaint is a small imperfection on the cable just the split into dual 6.35mm cables.So far, though, it's a good cable.Recommended.
