Nice little radio!
I usually don't review products unless I'm Angry at them, or Impressed by them. And I'm happy to say this little radio has Impressed me! What a fun little radio. I looked for literally one of the cheapest radios on Amazon with NOAA weather band reception since my original plan was to dissect the unit and repurpose the weather radio in another project I'm working on.. but after opening and testing this little radio, I think I may just keep it in my backpack or car instead. The reception is Phenomenal, picks up all the stations I'd hope it would and with virtually zero crackle or static I get with a lot of my other even higher-end radios, it's quite impressive for the price. The tuning knob is very sensitive but also feels very tight with not hardly any slop/play. Just the tiniest bit of turning changes stations but yeah its a nice tight knob and doesn't feel like you're overshooting the stations or anything but I could see that potentially being an issue if you stuff the radio in your pocket or something. The speaker is very tinny and small with zero bass, but quite clear and loud; for its size that's pretty expected and should sound a lot better with headphones I imagine (havent tested yet) but again pretty dang good for the price point. Build quality is meh, average, its all plastic, but yeah the dials are tight and selector switches clicky and satisfying. It's not the Best radio but again for the Price point this little guy punches Well above its weight I feel and worth it to keep in your glove box or take hiking for weather alerts if nothing else.

A must have if you reside by the Gulf of America
Great design as it includes AM, FM & Weather bands. Includes the old school tuner rather than the "new digital", so is easier to scan all channels and never fails to work. The sound is amazing for such a small and inexpensive radio. Uses replaceable 2AA batteries, just remember to keep a fresh pack of batteries and remove the batteries if the radio is stored in your storm emergency kit hopefully for many years. I like it for what it is ... an emergency tool when power, internet and everything else fails.

The only complaint I have is the band switch positions do not match the bands shown on the front. You have to look at the back of the radio to determine the position. Small issue. Other that that the radio works well on fm and wb. The am band is week due to Iโm sure of lack of a suitable antenna for am. Not sure of the longevity as I just purchased it. Small and portable and the sound is adequate. Overall for the price it is a decent radio Update: the issue of product reliability has been answered. About 3 to 4 days after starting to use the radio, the On/Off/Vol switch began to fail as the radio would not shut off securely with potential of running down the batteries. Too bad I really liked this radio but it is not useable in this condition. I guess it goes back for a refund.

This is a good radio not inferior in any way, great WB too.
This is an excellent little radio. I bought it and it worked so well I bought 6 more and gave them as Christmas gifts. It picks up AM well it gets FM well and it tunes the weather better than any non-crystal controlled weather radio I ever bought. Most of them struggle to tune the weather and the frequency drifts, this one locks onto the signal and stays. You can actually pick up sports on the FM or local talk radio and it stays on signal. I think it has a PLL chip for the tuning. For the money you can't buy just one! The weather sticker on the front will peel off if you wish. I like that it uses 2 AA batteries and 2 regular zinc carbon ones last me several uses. I bet it would really shine with alkalines. I listened to several entire football games this fall on one set of batteries. There's an LED for the tuning.

Basic uncomplicated operation (Yay!)
This radio has an analog tuner, no digital anything, no Bluetooth, and features nothing that is not obvious. No user manual is really needed in this case. In an emergency, the last thing you need to be doing is flipping through a userโs guide to figure out how the digital tuning and presets work. This is a small simple basic radio. Uses plain ordinary AA batts; no weird unavailable batts. I wish it were smaller and lighter, but it is good enough and inexpensive. Also, there is no weather alert feature to try and figure out. Just a radio telling you info on your terms. No surprises.

Doesn't last long.
The radio itself is very good. It gets a good reception in my area. South Texas. Size is perfect, not too big to take up too much space. However, it didn't last long. I bought it in late July 2025, and by December, it was not working. I replaced the batteries because it was not working. Try to turn it back on, and nothing works on it anymore. Like I say, if it is working, the radio is good. Just can't tell you how long it will last.

Good pocket radio
Great pocket size radio. Wish the volume went a little louder, but overall it was a good purchase. We used it at the drive-in movies.
