Pretty Nifty
I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited membership. I would like to thank the author for partnering with KU so I have access to her book.I wasn't sure I really wanted to even look at this with all the "love your possessions" going around.I am so glad I did. The solutions are homemade for various issues in your home, for example, a glistening, sanitary toilet. Ideas I have never seen on Pinterest. I love one of the ideas for removing burnt on mess. I have already tried the others. I can't wait to try it tomorrow!I took a star off for the following reasons: her repeated suggestion to put certain items in a canning jar, poking holes in the canning jar lid. A grated cheese bottle (such as those from a pizza restaurant) works better. I have one filled with baking soda by my stove. I have a ceramic top stove and it really helps keep the stove clean. Not enough information about the cleaning abilities. And it seems the author uses the little yellow boxes of baking soda. You can buy a huge bag of it wherever pool supplies are sold. I buy a bag during the season and it will last until the next season. Finally, perhaps ideas on where to find a good buy for essential oils. I wouldn't mind having her suggestions.Other than the above whining, this is a great book on using cleaners you make yourself. Cheaper in the long run, and incredibly green.Seriously, a great book for green, effective cleaning solutions.

Good for Cleaning solutions
I would recommend this book to people who want home remedies for general or tough cleaning issues. There are some recommendations for decluttering and organization, but it wasn’t as helpful as I expected.

Bible for Your Home
This book is the most complete that tells you what you need to know to keep your home tidy and manageable including giving you homemade cleaning solutions that really work. The first chapter starts out with a ton of recipes that help you to clean your house using baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice and many more regular, everyday items. The second chapter goes into how to make things that help your house smell its best from drier sheets to homemade potpourri. Next the book shows you how to keep your pantry organized and up to date while you learn how to make anything you need to clean your kitchen in the next. Make dishwasher and dishwashing liquids, how to get rid of grease, make your pans shine, clean your oven and make stainless steel sparkle. There is a chapter on the bathroom that shows you how to create your own solutions for disinfecting and cleaning. The bedroom chapter shows you how to store, keep and get rid of unnecessary items and makes your bedroom a comfortable place to be. I am now making my own laundry detergent and am saving a bundle. The chapter on laundry also teaches you how get rid of all kinds of stains and how to banish wrinkles from your clothing amongst other things. There is a chapter on how to clean sofas, chairs, wood tables and many other things and gives you decorating suggestions that are quite fun. The book does not stop there. It goes on to teaching you how to spend wisely and save. Everyone needs this book in their arsenal.

The Best Home Organizing Book Ever!
At long last! A book for those of us who are overpowered - with occupations, kids, or whatever, at that point have our extra assignments of cooking, cleaning, clothing, home support, charges, accounts, and so forth, and losing control of our lives and environment. Susan's genuineness about her own organizing life made me feel comfortable - here was somebody who gets it! Perusing this book resembled talking with a neighbor over the back fence, getting thoughts regarding how to deal with the wreckage of living in this advanced world with fast, effectively connected thoughts for making sorted out frameworks in little ways. Two or three the arranging thoughts introduced were not different to me, yet the majority of them were basically unique, well considered and effective, (and adorable! - loads of pictures included, too). The book exhibits bunches of thoughts that can be utilized in various ways relying upon your circumstance. My responses as I read? Goodness! Amazing! That is a great thought! I can do that! I could attempt that! also, "for what reason didn't I think about that?". Worth each penny. In the last chapter, Susan talks about the best way to save money and spend wisely. That has been a great information for me. I have started applying some of these tips and they work a great deal for me. I can't wait to get started on other interesting tips included in this book. It's not just an interesting read, it is rich and awesome!

Good book, but not what the title advertises.
The tips are not bad, but other than a few ideas for organizing your pantry, family room and bedroom, this book is mostly recipies for home made cleaning solutions and hacks to make your house smell better. There is very little content covering organizing and even less for decluttering. Not what I was looking for at all.

Home Organizing is a Great Book to Start the New Year Off Right
Susan Hollister’s book, Home Organizing: Simple Solutions For Cleaning, Decluttering and Organizing Your Home, was a great read to start the new year off right. She breaks down cleaning and organizing your home room by room and provides cleaning solution recipes for every surface, nook, and cranny. I really look forward to getting away from harsh chemical cleaners and saving money by making my own environmentally sound solutions in 2019. It was easy to go through the E book and highlight items to add to a shopping list to stock up on like vinegar, lemon juice, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, and baking soda. Surprisingly, these are items that I already have around the house, but I plan to start buying in bulk to whip up my own solutions. I also really appreciate that this will help me get away from creating so much plastic waste and utilize all of the canning jars in my basement. This book also provides a plethora of helpful tips and tricks to make cleaning and organizing simple and fun. I have only begun to implement these strategies, and I already feel so much better about the space that I call home.

I like a fact book to have photos
Not quite what i thought it would be. I like a fact book to have photos, not many but some, just to give you ideas on how things are done. But in this book its all writing. Some of the hints and tips may be good and using cheep vodka, (which i cant afford) is not something i do. There are more interesting books that help with home organizing. Sorry but someone may like it.
