love this Barilla Chickpea Orzo! It's a fantastic gluten-free and high-protein option that still has a great texture and mild nutty flavor. Cooks quickly and holds its shape well—perfect for salads, soups, or as a rice substitute. I really appreciate the simple ingredients (just chickpeas!) and how it fits into my healthy eating goals. Will definitely keep buying!

I tried this pasta because I found out through dietary testing that I am sensitive to corn and its derivatives, which is in just about EVERYTHING. Some examples are xanthan gum, citric acid, corn starch, maltodextrin, etc.Anyway, this product is made only from chickpeas. It provides more fiber and protein with somewhat fewer calories than even brown rice, so I use it in place of rice in veggie stir fries or a beans, "rice" and salsa dish that I make fairly often.

This absorbs the flavor you put into your food. It's a nice easy way to thicken soups and stews and add protein.

Made a great Greek orzo salad for after Thanksgiving.

You can make a mean soup with this one. Also good value for money. My vegan partner agrees and makes a thick soup that looks like slop and we collectively call soup. Great predictable, safely texture for people with ASD.
