"Loose" is right! Maybe more of an understatement.I'm 5'10", Waist 32", Inseam 30". I ordered XL because the size chart showed that as a 29.92" inseam, the closest of their sizes to my inseam. Problem: the waist was much too large for me AND the length was too long. The M (Advertised as: Waist 30-32", Inseam 28.74") might have been the better choice OR possibly even the L would have worked although I suspect that too would have been to large judging by the outrageously large XL I received.Caveat: "Yoga Pants" is mentioned in the description along with "Loose Elastic Waist Drawstring Casual Pants Lightweight Beach Lounge". To provide for lots of movement pants designed to be used for yoga exercises are exceedingly roomy. Maybe the same is true for "Lightweight Beach Lounge" pants.The pants I got have to be singed up a lot in the waist and in bare feet my heels step on the bottom of the legs.I probably would have done better ordering based on the waist size rather than giving attention to the inseam. You might consider the same option.

I'll be honest...I wasn't expecting much from these pants...at this price. But they are awesome! They're well made, fit well, have a nice stretch to them (but not too much), and are really lightweight and comfy. I wear them around the house almost as pajamas...but they're nice enough that if I had to step out my front door, I don't LOOK like I'm wearing pajamas. They could definitely be worn out and about and pass for nice "sweat pants". Very sharp looking and they've stood up well to the first couple of washings (I hung them to dry, so I can't comment on whether they shrink in a dryer - but I assume they do to some extent). Great pants!

These became my instant favorite! They can be sleepwear, errand-running pairs, etc. The material is so soft and breathable. They are easily washed and don't come out wrinkled from the dryer. The length is exactly as stated meaning no alterations that add $20+ to the total! Not having to find a belt is a bonus! Not that I have reviewed these, I am going to buy more to replace my old pj bottoms/track pants!

I had gotten my husband a pair of drawstring waist linen pants this past summer that were very comfortable and could be dressed up or down. My son asked me to keep an eye out for another pair like those.These aren’t exactly what I expected, but my son really likes them. When I saw these pants were made of cotton and linen, I thought they would be similar to the linen pants I bought before. These pants are also made of Lycra—10% Lycra, which gives them a lot of stretch.These are the only pants I have ever seen that have both a drawstring waist and a regular zipper and button waist. This allows for adjustment, which is good, because these pants ran a little large. The drawstring made it easy to pull in the waist.The pants have deep pockets and straight legs. My son says they are extremely comfortable and feel like pajama pants. Worn with a t-shirt, they look kind of like pajamas, or “lounge pants”. (Is “lounge pants” just a code for pajamas you can wear outside? ) But you can pair them with a button-down shirt and loafers and they look nice.Dress them up, dress them down—these are nice, comfy pants with a lot more stretch than I expected.
