I'm remodeling my bathroom and these compression valves work great on my copper stub outs. A 1/4 turn ball valve is the way to go and Brasscraft makes a great product.

These 1/4 turn stops are great. Just replaced 16 of them in my home. They look and work great.

STOP VALVE 1/2X3/8" COMP is a great replacement for valves with rubber stops

Description said these angle valves did not have the compression ring on the 3/8" side but mine came with the ring. I haven't had time to install yet which is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 at this point.
