I have been using Shea butter for almost 10 years and I have been buying this brand for several years. I like that it comes in big 1kg tubs. My family and I love this organic unrefined Shea butter. I have been using it on my 3 children's skin since they were babies and they now rub it on their skin everyday. It was amazing for nappy rash and teething rashes when they were little. I am going to be 44 soon and I have been dealing with perimenopause symptoms for almost 5 years. I like how the Shea butter helps to moisturise my face. I dont use any other moisturiser during the day. It really helps with my fine lines and wrinkles. When I apply it, it absorbs quickly. When I apply my powder it doesn't go blotchy. It is great for dry skin especially on the hands face and feet. I use it on my scars too and really enjoyed rubbing it on to my bump when pregnant which I feel helped minimise the stretch marks. I also rub it into my scalp sometimes and also add essential oils to the butter. A little goes a long way. It smells nutty and it melts easily when rubbing it between my hands. I love it and would recommend its great value for money and is a nice texture.

This is lovely on the skin, I made a body butter with it. The smell is a little unpleasant but I have read that its normal. I'll look at ways to mask it by using essential oils. This can be used on hair and skin!

Rancid, disgusting smell. Stinks like vomit and turpentine! This terrible smell is a sign that the shea butter is rancid, and should not be used. Good quality, unrefined shea butter should have an earthy scent, along with smokiness which is due to the extraction process. It should NOT have a disgusting petrol/turpentine/vomit stink. This arrived in a big tub so I scooped some out using a clean spatula and placed it in a smaller container for ease of use. The horrible smell became apparent and out of concern I did some research and found this batch was rancid. I bought this to treat my eczema and dry skin in general as I wanted a natural product that would be easy to apply and stay solid at room temperature. I usually use coconut oil for all-round moisturisation but during hotter weather it's not so convenient as it doesn't remain solid. In the past I've bought lotions and creams containing (refined) shea butter so I decided to take a chance and try the most natural version of it, pure and unrefined shea butter. This was my first purchase from this brand but due to this singular bad experience I won't purchase from this company again and have now requested a refund. Since my unlucky experience I've browsed other brands because I still wanted to use unrefined shea butter, but the issue of customers receiving rancid product seems to be an issue which no company is completely immune from and I now feel it's too much of a risk to spend my money on, so I have reluctantly concluded that it's probably safer to stick with what I know best, coconut oil, despite its inconvenience during warmer weather.

Just a warning about the smell of this product - this is not your typical beauty product that smells like vanilla or caramel or cinnamon, it’s raw and it has its own smell which is quite strong and making conflict with other scents you wear. Because it’s a natural product, it doesn’t have any scented oils or additives that cover up the natural smell. Other than that, it’s great value for money and really good at moisturising the skin.

Good oil for making a home remedy body cream. Value for money combines well with other products. Value for money.

The product had whitish powder-like substance at the surface, at first, I thought it was mold. After further research, I found out that it is a stearic acid (high amount is found in unrefined Shea butter) crystallization/solidification, which may be due to temperature changes. It melts when you rub on skin. The white powder-like substance you find at the top is NORMAL, NOT mold.

This is **NOT** pure shea butter. 1. It's extremely soft...raw she's butter is firm and solid 2. It's very grainy 3. Smells awful...raw shea butter has a mild scent...nothing like this This is false advertisement... NOT ORGANIC UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER

Mi piace molto la consistenza e poi l'assenza di profumo, come piace a me e come lo cercavo.

Nonostante non ci Sia la data Di scadenza si sente Che è fresco, con un buon odore Di karitè ( personalmente lo adoro), non granuloso, mi sembra Di buona qualitá.

veramente un prodotto di qualità ad un prezzo ragionevole,basta studiarci un po' e si possono fare ottimi cosmetici sicuri sena sostanze nocive e senza spendere un capitale
