Ice Cold

I have never been disappointed in any of the books that I've read by Cherry. I like how she builds the suspense up so you think you know what will happen or who the culprit is and you find out you guessed it wrong. But the best is that you don't figure it out when you're only halfway through the book.Rafael lost his wife while they were on an undercover operation together and knew he'd never watch another woman to be tortured due to his job. He is not happy when the help he needs to catch this terrorist has to come from cybercrimes because this terrorist is all about danger and damage with a computer.Honey is a specialist with the cybercrimes department of T-Flac, and she definitely likes being around computers more than people. She's a very private woman and as some would say she's even cold because she does not show emotions toward anyone. Though she works with computers, she definitely knows how to protect herself from danger and it's a good thing because now, she's been put in the field with Rafael to find a serial bomber that has threatened the financial world.Honey has heard all about Rafael's skills in defusing bombs, but also his skills in bed and wants nothing to do with that. They agree to work together to catch the bomber before it's too late, but nothing can happen between them. As they act as a couple to draw this person out their feeling start to grow for one another. They try fighting the attraction between them, but the more they try the hotter it gets. Can they catch their suspect while he tries to keep Honey safe, or will he lose her just like he lost his wife?

Rafael Navarro and Honey Winston are on a global manhunt for a traitor who is causing havoc all over the world. Honey is the best computer tech in TFLAC, but she makes Rafael feel things he vowed never to feel again, so doesn't want to have her around. Honey made a similar vow of her own, but she is the only one who can help find the person who is trying to frame her for these deeds.Flying around the world they look into one bombing after another until it all comes home, literally. The trail takes them to Honey's home where they have the final showdown with the bad guys, or bad woman in this case.

I was really excited when I heard that a new T-FLAC book was coming out. I have loved them all. Honey and Navarro's story kept me interested from the moment I pick it up. Yes, there were some spelling and other errors in the book. Which is why I gave this a 4 instead of a 5. Other than those I truely enjoyed the book. I loved the tie in to another of her series. I enjoy action and excitement in the romance books I read. This one really kept me going. Enough that I stayed up way too late to finish it. I can't wait until the next one is released. Need another T-FLAC fix!

As usual, Cherry Adair knocks it out of the park with ICE COLD! Her characters come to life from page one and the plot, setting, and dialogue kept me turning the pages well into the night. And believe me, that's a big deal....there are far too few books now days that provide that kind of reading rush!Way to go, Ms. Adair, way to go!
