RTumbler Brand Replacement Lid Compatible With Thumler's Tumbler A-R12 Lid With Retainer Ring, AR12, AR-12

The original cover was white, a terrible choice for a tumbler. This one is sturdy, well-fitted, and it’s black. The band works as it should.

the order was shipped super fast and the new lid was much heavier and thicker than the original lid.

Lid is great; retaining ring is too small by about 1/2" I even backed it clear out and tried to install when open and it is about 1/4" away from engagement and about 1/2" away from being able to be tightened. But the lid itself? Works great and quieter than original lid. Time will tell but I'd still buy it again.

I bought this replacement lid in December and I noticed today that I can see through the center and it is definitely flimsy-feeling. Time already for a new lid. That means this lasted about 4 months. That is non-stop tumbling, but it is not as long as the original lid lasted. The best thing about the black lid is being able to catch the point when it becomes thin enough to see through, and avoid a blowout. I kept the original ring, it works better than the replacement ring.

This lid is an improvement over the original.Just a little tip to new owners, be sure to "burp" the tumbler at least every other day during grinding stages or it WILL "burp" itself and you won't like the results. For me, it literally blew a hole through the lid. Rock and sludge blew everywhere. It was quite the mess.
