Great illumination!
The light it gives off is amazing! I use it on my small laptop and it really helps me to see the keyboard, with my older eyesight. My only problem with it is that it gets very hot!

Not REALLY a book light as it must be connected to a power source to work, not what one looks for in a book light
Product description suggest this to be useful as a book light - it needs to be understood this is NOT battery operated which means unless you have a USB port to power it, it is useless. This makes it most useless as a book light as books are portable and usually do not come equipped with USB power. But as a utility light anywhere there is USB ports to provide power, it is useful. Conclusion, avoid if what you are specifically looking for is a cordless light to read books by.

Don't Waste Your Money.
Got the lights because they were cheap and had several of them. Well I got what I paid for. I got them because my main laptop has no backlit keyboard. The light it gives out is very weak on all of the seven I got, it is flexible, once bent into position, they slowly go back to their original form, annoying. It was not worth the effort to get my money back, they sit around as conversation pieces and I have given away 5 of the seven to kids to use as toys. Really kind of worthless.

Dont be deceived like i was.
The looks of the device are deceiving.... by the looks of the light they make it appear that the silver area opposite of the light area is the on/off switch like the more better versions of this light. the silver area does nothing. the light must be inserted to light up and pulled from USB area to turn off. it's still useful but not as good as the better versions. had I known, I never would have bought them.
