Performs better than expected. I had this for over a year now. I doubted it at first but have used/abused it. It continues to work well as has been one of my better yards tools. Light weight with a surprising dig /till capacity and breaks down clumps easily. Depth is a little shallow but just till, scrape off and go deeper. I have never run out of battery power (from a full charge). I would definitely buy it again and have recommended it to others.

It does the job of cultivating established garden beds. Much easier than a shovel and pitch fork. The life of the battery is long enough for the job to be completed without having to recharge.

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a big fan of electric yard equipment, and I really didn't expect much from this unit...but I was very much surprised!!! For it's size and battery power, this thing is a beast!! it cut through my flower beds, which have been untouched for three years, and turned the soil over without slowing down at all. although I didn't time it, one battery lasted through two 50 foot by 2 foot stretches with power to spare and into a third section. Money well spent, since the space was too narrow to use my gas powered rototiller. Highly recommended. only two minor negatives to report.... 1) it pulled up a rock which wedged in between the tines and the dirt shield, and since there is no way to reverse the direction or freewheel the tines< I had to pound out the rock with a hammer and metal punch,,,,but only once in two 50 foot stretches. the other minus is that the the auxiliary handle on the shaft is hard to secure in place because the shaft is very smooth and it is almost impossible to tighten the clamp tight enough to keep it from moving around. Simple fix though is to find your "sweet spot" and wrap some type of "duct tape' or other material around the shaft to help the handle "get a grip"...easy peasy!!! Great little flower bed tiller, well worth the money!!

First off: if you cannot connect the 2 parts it is because they gave you an extra flange. Twist (unscrew) the lower piece female flange and voilá. Easy to assemble after that! This is a great time saver for small gardens and landscaping jobs. It is not going to get a deep till and works much better if you pull or trim long weeds first. Common sense: don’t use with large rocks or woody weeds until they are cleared. It does work with smaller pebbles in the soil. I pulled the long weeds and then used the Weed Dragon to burn off the smaller ones. Then I tilled. We have clay soil and this did a nice loosening up the top couple inches. We bought a house that had been on the market for a year and all the landscaping beds were overgrown with weeds. If this lasts long enough to get the whole front yard done, it will have paid for itself!
