Outstanding Quality and Exceptional Customer Service from Dasaita
I recently purchased a head unit from Dasaita, and I couldn't be more impressed with both the product and the customer service experience. The head unit itself is outstanding. It offers a sleek design, high-resolution display, and seamless integration with my vehicle. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate through various features and settings. The sound quality has significantly improved, and the unit's performance is top-notch, with no lag or glitches. Additionally, the compatibility with Apple CarPlay adds a level of convenience that is hard to beat. What truly sets Dasaita apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. From the moment I inquired about the product, the team was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. They guided me through the selection process, ensuring I chose the right unit for my car. Post-purchase, they continued to offer support, promptly addressing any questions I had and providing detailed instructions for installation.I highly recommend Dasaita to anyone looking to upgrade their car's head unit. You won't be disappointed!

Dasaita is the leader of head units for the 4Runner!
I had the Dasaita G12 Plus for over 7-months and LOVED it. I recently upgraded to the Dasaita G13 Plus, which has DTS and a gyro. DTS is dynamic theatre system, which is a chip that makes sounds and audios more defined and crisp. Very noticeable in the performance increase when it comes to audio. Gyro is for off-road use and gives you pitch and roll degree values. I have the 256GB ROM, 8GB RAM version and it’s blazing fast. Unit connects to CarPlay super effortlessly and without delay. Fits and looks completely OEM, but with a far superior screen and clarity. Worth every single penny. Dasaita’s been in the head unit market for years, and this is their best unit yet.Install was not too difficult. I actually made an install video on YT for anyone requiring a little more help and assistance. Search “Dasaita G13 Plus Head Unit Install for Toyota 4Runner!”

Looks great, great support.
I originally gave this a 1-star review because of the issues listed below and promised to update based on the support response from Dasaita. They replied within 24 hours. Which was great, but was basically to send me the same info that's in the included documentation. They did say one thing in the reply that I was able to interpret that fix both issues. If your vehicle uses the CB004 harness (2014-19), you'll need to pull the CANBUS block from the CB047 harness and put it on yours. That was not clear in the documentation. Reboot loop is fixed. Back up camera works. The unit itself is great. I'm pleasantly surprised by some features I wasn't expecting. Mildly annoyed by a couple others. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far. The main problem is the documentation. For starters, I would have been done with the install in about 45 minutes on one try if not for poor directions. Second, there's little to explain all the features or how to change them. Otherwise, I'd have given this 5 stars. All that said, I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to upgrade. If anyone knows of a video that walks through all the features of the unit, please share a link in a reply.Original review-------------------I'll start with the good then explain I give this a 1-star rating. The unit looks great. It's a perfect fit for my 2018 4Runner. Pretty easy to install (I did watch vids on YouTube that helped). When it first booted up the display is beautiful, most everything worked (I'll get to that) and the interface is reasonably intuitive. Now for bad stuff.1. The in-box instructions are almost useless. The pics are too small, and the step descriptions are unclear. This is why I needed to watch vids to make sure I did the install right. Not to mention that there's no description of what everything in the box is or if they're all required or optional for installation. Most vids didn't help much on this point.2. The backup cam isn't working. Again, I turned to vids to troubleshoot and tried all the solution I could find with no luck. I've left a message on the Dasaita community forums but so far have not received a reply (it's only been a day as I write this review). Then things got worse.3. Despite the backup camera not working I decided to finish the install until I got an answer because everything else was working great – until it wasn't. After being on for about 4-5 minutes the unit went into a reboot loop (see video). I was scrolling through settings to see if there was one to fix the backup camera issue when the screen suddenly went black and began to reboot. After about 2 minutes of rebooting, it finally came back on. I went back into settings, and it happened again within 1-2 minutes and has been stuck in the loop ever since. I didn't even have a chance to change any settings.I tried turning the unit off and back on, both on the unit and by turning the vehicle off. Even tried pressing the reset button on the front of the unit. Still no luck. It's possible that I did something incorrect to cause this. That said, better documentation and online support may have made it easy to avoid or fix. Until Dasaita is able to resolve the issue, the 1-star stands. I will come back and update my review if they do, and I'll share information in case others run into the same issues I have.I'm really hoping they can resolve this quickly, so I don't have to put my old head unit back in.

Great option for OEM look!
Let me start by saying that the unit looks amazing! It runs very smooth and fast. The install was not too bad overall. It took me about 2 hours to install and I only ran into one issue which I later was able to solve by looking at the instructions. The setup was very straight forward and basically plug and play. All my steering controls work fine with the unit. The amplifier is amazing and helps the music sound much better! Would recommend this unit!

Looks Factory
Big fan of this head unit - I was on the fence with installing an aftermarket head unit until Dasaita released this model, as I prefer a factory look.Install was not the easiest, but I never took apart a dash to install a head unit. Overall it took me about 3 hours. Hindsight I could probably do install in an hour now.Overall very happy with the head unit, screen looks very clear and navigation is snappy. It looks 100% like the factory head unit in 2020+ model 4Runners but this one has better resolution and is slightly bigger.Only slight annoyance is a very small delay time in going to reverse for the camera to kick on. But the larger screen is so much better it also increased the field of view of camera, so I’ll take the good with the bad. This route is much cheaper then buying a new 4runner to get Apple CarPlay!
