Delicate shimmer
If you want something blingy this is not for you. A delicate shimmer that is very subtle. Absolutely love it. Takes a little bit longer to dry than other shimmer topcoats but worth the wait!Delivery was days quicker than anticipated.Going to look at their other products.

China Glaze Fairy Dust
China Glaze Fairy Dust is an amazing scattered holographic topper that is perfect for any nail art! I am going through so many bottles of this because of how much I love it! It is in a clear base so there is no need to worry about any blocking of the base colour or of nail art. I really like putting it over my nail art and really recommend!

Good formula but looks different on the nail than in the bottle
This is a very sheer taupe base with lots if shiny gold micro flecks. You can still see the end of the nail after one coat. To get full opacity, I needed three. I couldn't get on with it - it looks more taupe less gold in the bottle but once on the nail the gold fleck is very in your face, even in subdued lighting and in the sunlight it glows. I tried it as a topper but because the base is not clear, it altered the colour of the polish I put it on top of.In summary, it went on well, dried quickly and no problems taking it off but there was so much gold fleck that the underlying neutral colour was overcome with glitz.

Reasonably Good.
In my opinion it does really need two coats, you could almost get away with one, but having read reviews about how good this black was I was expecting a really good finish with just one. I also found it still seemed a little grey to my eyes even with the two coats but perhaps I'm being picky.It certainly needs a good quality undercoat and topcoat as I found it chipped within hours when left unprotected (thought I am a little rough on my nails truth be told)Interestingly, the China Glaze polishes I've recently bought have a lot less odor than other varnishes in my collection so much so that when I'd finished painting my nails, rather than asking me to open a window, my keen nosed other-half remarked that there was so little smell he didn't even know I'd opened the bottles.I think I'll be adding more of these to my collection!

Fabulous shade but beware staining!
I was delighted to find a bottle of this on Amazon. My last one got used up until there was only a dried up bit left in the bottle and China Glaze no longer sell it.This is the brightest neon orange, it makes your fingertips sing. Perfect for summer and Halloween, (stamped over with black cats, bats and spiderwebs) or any time when you really want your fingernails to be noticed.Beware though, without a base coat it will stain your nails a vile nicotine orange that will take six months to grow out. So use a good base coat and allow it to dry properly before applying orange knockout. It's matte so if you like shiny nails you'll also need a glossy top coat.

Not for the faint hearted
The colour is absolutely wonderful, once applied it looks beautiful.However getting to that point is a struggle. The polish is a very thin consistency you can throw all your nail polish rules out of the window, getting the right amount on the brush is pure luck, there's either nowhere near enough or your flooding the nail. I've had it on a day and I can already tell it's not going to last the week. I'd say it's good for an event if you're seasoned in painting your nails and your nerves can take it, the colour is really good.
