Clean your sax with this kit
You get 4 different cleaning cloths--one for the bell and body, one for the neck and two small flat cloths you can use around the keys, plus a brush for cleaning the mouthpiece. The two biger swabs work well for getting the spit out of your horn, the bigger one is designed with a circular piece on the end, so it opens up pretty well in the bell, but folds up going through the body. The cloths are a soft cotton flannel so they are washable and won't scratch the finish. The edges on the bigger cloths are sewn with an overcast stitch so the edges won't unravel or fray. The also have weighted "ropes" (like a poly shoestring) so you can easily thread them through the horn. The weights are sewn inside so they won't scratch either. The photos show little red balls on the end--they aren't designed like that. The brush is somewhat stiff, but the bristles are soft. In general, nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Sax cleaner
Bought this for my granddaughter's 2 taxes. She likes it.

Long, absorbent and flexible
I got this for my son who is learning how to play my old tenor sax. When I was a student playing, I didn’t have a swab like this, but rather a cloth with a weighted string to pull through. This fits well inside the length of the saxophone and the fibers are very absorbent. Unlike other swabs that I’ve seen like this, it has a flexible wire instead of a wooden dowel. This makes it more flexible and seems to allow it to reach the pads better when swabbing it after playing.

Not impressed with this cheap Chinese copy
This thing is so much thinner than the ones I use in my alto and tenor saxes, I don't see how it could absorb much moisture (if any). It is a poorly made, cheap copy of a real sax pad saver - it is too short to reach the lowest key on my soprano sax, it is so thin that the fibers barely touch the inside of the sax, and when I was removing it for the first time, the rubber cap on the end popped off. Don't waste your time and money on this thing unless you want it just for show. Spend the extra dollar or two and get a sax swab that was designed by musicians for musicians.

Does the job!
Works as advertised. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a basic cleaning kit.
