Mallrats 4K Ultra HD

A funny movie that still stands well today

Kevin Smith's early output, such as this and Clerks, have that raw 'underground' feeling to them, although Mallrats in particular brings some great talent to the shops: Ben Affleck, Claire Forlani, Michael Rooker, Shannen Doherty, Jason Lee, and so on.Mallrats is about kids with nothing to do and nothing much to care about beyond comics and girls. Characters are weird, wonderful or woeful, and the script is fast, punchy and funny.It's a movie very much of its time but still holds up as an easy, enjoyable watch. Oh, and Stan Lee's cameo is way better than anything he's done in any Marvel movie.

I can`t believe this was a cinema flopIt is one of the best movies I have seen its very Nerdy/Geeky and you can not take it seriously but it is a lot of silly fun and it will put a grin on your faceI can't remember if I saw this one on tape or on the big screen I think it was tape and promise it is a good filmThe cast is a collection of at the time soon to be stars an some who had made it but it runs more like clerks then Dogma it sort of creeps up on you with the comedy the writing and the direction are as we will see a progress but the basic element of keep it light keep it fun is on the money

Mallrats is my favourite Kevin Smith film, so it's great to see a release that finally does it justice. The image quality is fantastic, and far outdoes all previous releases. The extras are plentiful, with an added bonus of three different cuts of the film. Really like the blueprints that come with it as well.

not too good, maybe only worthy due to the "jay and silent bob" introduction for next saga movies of them, nothing else.

Hoy en día es muy difícil encontrar una película 4k con buen contenido extra, la mayoría son discos con precios muy altos que solo incluyen un disco blu ray y la version 4k con un código que solo es váiido en US.Yo para que quiero eso?, si las películas 4k costarán 300 pesos estaría bien pero por lo regular el precio es $600 - $999 pesos.Este release de Arrow Video es muy bueno, la introducción por parte de Kevin Smith es una sorpresa muy agradable, el transfer de 35mm a Dolby Vision es impecable y el contenido extra es demasiado bueno. Vale mucho la pena adquirir este release.
