Eightwood WiFi 6E Antenna Tri-Band 6GHz 5GHz 2.4GHz RP-SMA WiFi Antenna

My partner has a room above the garage, and it was an late addition to the house, so the wifi is pretty bad, even with running a mesh system routers and wifi 7 in the main house. The gaming room above the garage gets signal with wifi 6, but the latency is twice as much. Instead we now run this tri-band Antenna as close as possible to the direction of the mesh system of the house. we now achieve 500download/ 120upload speeds, and the latency is significant lower and you are able to play video games from the gaming room. Without a doubt great value for the money, it works perfectly, these are big antenna's compared to the ones the motherboard includes., but the item is very durable, and has a magnetic bottom base, and very easy to install.

We live in a split level home, and had just moved one of our PCs to a location to our family room, which is downstairs on one side of our home. Despite having a network satellite (Orbi) not far from the computer's new location, it was very stubbornly resisting connecting to our network. Almost every other computer in our home operates at 300Mbps, we were getting readings of 3-5 Mbps, and in many situations, the computer wouldn't even connect to the network. So, quickly scanned Amazon and found the Eightwood device. For its low price, I was dubious, but figured I'd give it a shot. Got prompt deliver, and then "installed" the device, which literally consisted of connecting two coaxial screw-on connectors: In other words, super-easy installation that took about 30 seconds at most. IMMEDIATELY, the device worked and brought our connectivity to life. We're now getting readings of between 200-300Mbps consistently, so I thing that the antennas are super strong. Also, quite unobtrusive and fits neatly on the desktop. The bottom of the device includes two fittings that would allow to hang on the side of a wall, as well. This may be the easiest and most efficient purchase of computer hardware in the 46 years since I bought my first PC. Proceed with confidence!

Holy crap I wasn't expecting this to be able to quadruple my speeds but it sure did. Screwed right onto my msi tomahawk b650 motherboard and is considerably bigger than the dinky antennas it came with. Not only does this dramatically increase my speed but it also cleared up a couple usb ports on the back of my motherboard that were always blocked by the antennas. I couldn't be happier with this thing.

I have a custom Desktop the I build fir gaming the antenna for the wifi was small and goes on the back of the motherboard is was not working for me because my computer is not in range of the router and I find this works perfectly and resolve the issue with weak signal now I have full bar connection and do not drop strong signal the cable is pretty long for placement at your preferences if yoy have weak wifi signal and have the little antenna this is your solution hive a try just make sure is the signal and not your router and be aware this is only antenna receiver do not going to increment your speed just going to improve your computer wifi signal good luck hope this help 👍

This feels rather light weight and cheap. The magnetic base is rather weak, and while it's strong enough to hold itself against a flat metal surface, I bet it doesn't take much to knock it loose. For the price, I guess I expected something that felt a bit more substantial. Given the overall cheap feel, I'm not sure what the quality of the antenna design is, but in my application (an outdoor area within about 40-100' line-of-sight), RSSI seemed reasonable and I didn't have any connectivity problems.

Do not buy! I was hoping to improve Teams meetings' stability by moving WiFi antenna from under the table, farther from PC and closer to the router (in the room above my basement office). Original Aorus antenna has a short lead, hence it sits under the table, which has metal framing, and I thought that replacing it with another one with longer lead and positioning it closer to the router would solve the problem. Well, this particular product definitely was not the answer. Just for comparison, average results of a Ookla speed tests: Original Aorus antenna: 8-9ms ping, 40-80 ms of download/upload latency, 60-80 Mbits download, 60-80 Mbits upload. This product: 14-30 ms ping, 80-370 ms of download/upload latency, 30-60 Mbits download, 14-30 Mbits upload. Despite being located closer to the router and not being surrounded by metal frame of the table, this product showed worse results. Total garbage. I also seemingly received used product, because there was nothing in the box beside the antenna and the base anti-skid sticker was already applied and had a ton of light beige particles (like paint dust) all over it.

Extended the distance to the WiFi pretty well. Easy to install and not that big can fit on the back of your desk.

This is a nice antenna but not nice enough. I thought buying something bigger than my antenna that came with the PC desktop would be better in receiving, but what was my surprise when this was 50 Mbps slower .. No freqin way! The antenna is way smaller than this beefy I got .. Returned it

Works well ... extended my PC Bluetooth range for my headset an extra 5m, through a walls and down a hallway.

I bought this wifi antenna to replace the stock antennas on my PC, and it’s been a solid upgrade so far. Setup was straightforward, just screw it onto the RP-SMA connectors. Since it is magnetic, I just sticked it on the side of my pc case. The magnet is pretty strong, so there is no issues with it falling off, even when adjusting it. I’ve noticed more stable speeds and better signal strength, especially on the 5GHz and 6GHz bands. My connection feels more consistent now, with fewer drops compared to before. The cable length is also nice since it gives you some flexibility to position the antenna for better reception. If you’re looking to upgrade your WiFi antenna, this one is definitely worth considering.

This is a fantastic WIFI adapter. Great connectivity and has a great signal that picks up things from a distance. I compared other options but they ended up being more expensive.
