Customer Service is great!These are ok but they are so funny shaped that they don't stand well. You also have to cut the top fabric off to sow seeds as it won't rip easily like other brands. Just a little more wonky and time consuming to deal with

Wow first time using these. Just put seeds in only few ago growth rate was fast.

I have used peat pods for years to start my seeds and I thought I would try this brand out because it was a good price. I used maybe 50 today and I am thinking about tossing the rest in the trash and going back with my usual brand.I was surprised how fast they expanded but that was the only good thing about these peat pods. They did not have a hole in the casing so I had to rip the top off of every peat pod to plant the seeds. They are shaped weird compared to other peat pods also and do not stand up by themselves. I usually put peat pods in rows in a foil tray but I had to cram these in there in order for them to not fall over.

I received one box of 300 pellets that was great, then a second box I ordered - all of the peat pellets were almost impossible to open the tops on (their stamp cutter apparently was malfunctioning) - and the second set of pellets I received all seemed underfilled compared to the first set I received.The pellets DO hydrate very quickly, which is nice, they readily absorb water. I just wish the second box I received was as well produced as the firsst.

I have been starting seeds for the last 4 years and these fit perfectly in the trays I bought on Amazon.
