Declan and Sloane’s banter is amazing and I loved how funny they were. I don’t usually laugh out loud when I’m reading, but this book had moments that were absolutely hilarious. The wee camel story took me out for a while! I remember not loving Sloane’s character in the first book of the series, but her journey in this one was great and she totally redeemed herself in my eyes. She’s sassy and tough, but still soft and sweet that it took the edge off. Sloane just needed to find the right man to thaw out that frozen heart of hers. As for Daddy Declan…he is beyond amazing! So grumpy and hard, but once he falls for Sloane it’s game over for him. Their love was heartwarming and exciting to experience.

Spoilers & Thoughts Below!!•Second book in the Queens & Monsters series, following Ruthless Creatures.•I absolutely loved this book so much more than the first. The plot and story were really well done and filled with tons of spice.•Dual POVs of the main characters, Sloane and Declan.•Sloane Keller is absolutely by far one of my favorite heroines ever. She’s hilarious, quick-witted, smart and just a badass Queen. Definitely the real star of the book.•Declan O’Donnell is your typical broody and grumpy alpha male with dark secrets. He’s Irish with tons of tattoos, so definitely swoon worthy.•All the banter, tension, and chemistry between Sloane and Declan was just phenomenal. Their relationship was filled with some really passionate and steamy moments.•Spice level was really good.•The twist was a bit predictable but nonetheless enjoyable.•The ending did wrap up pretty quickly but still left me excited for the next book.•Again, the main highlight of this book for me was Sloane and all the witty banter between Declan and her.•Overall, just a great and steamy read with a badass heroine.

OMG Sloane is my spirit character. I loved her in Ruthless Creatures book 1 with her bestie Nat. This book had me laughing out loud sooooo many times. The author really has a spectacular talent for creating great liners. “Tighter than a Nun Snatch” will live rent free in my head for life. This was an amazing book with amazing writing and amazing characters. Chemistry off the charts. Sarcasm was insanely good. The camel bedtime story was so insane. Hats off to J.T. Geissinger!!This is not your typical mob book which is what makes it so damn good. Read book 1 first.

Wow, this book is NOT what I expected. Sloan and Declan have the perfect banter. They are both super smart, dry, and sarcastic. For a book that I thought was a "dark" mafia romance I swear I found myself laughing more times than not. These two are truly the perfect match. I would have given it five stars but I was actually sad there was another cliff hanger at the end. I read book one when it first came out and then forgot about the series. I had to go back and read some of it to figure out what was going on. That is truly my only complaint. This book is hot, sexy, full of dangerous alpha males, and worth every minute.

Does it get any hotter, dangerous and laughter.What a melting pot of interaction with Declan and Sloane.Sloanes' humour is outlandish ,addicting,refreshing and down right funny. Her dry sense of humour is riveting and I had to stop and read sections over a number of times ,laughing too much!The surprise at the end almost makes my blood curl .You come to respect and love those men who are nothing like there are portrait asWhat a wonderful author with so much talent .

I'm still processing this book. My god, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughted and cryed so many times. And I need to say this, Sloane is one of the most picturesque characters i've ever read/saw. The way she sees the world around her is just as unique as her. And I really don't think that could be anyone for her but Declan. He's smart, strong, amazing, hot. What a couple, I'm in love haha. I liked this book even more than the first one of the series and I though that it wasn't possible. The way the romance was build between them was beautiful. And I love so much the sisterhood Sloane and Nat have, i adore this two. Such an amazing read.

Absolutely loving this series so far sloane and Declan are epic I've laughed and laughed at the antics that is Sloane this book is packed with ball the think a I like in a book dak and humour and lots of spice

Storyline is amazing 👏 🙌 😍 Twist and turns- u won't believe it! This is so much more than just a spicy romance. I highly recommend to read 📚 book 1 and then this one - although you could easily follow the plot but it's so much more fun in the right order! AMAZING 🌶🌶🌶🌶

Really good book, it's fast paced and interesting plot, with amazing characters. Sloane stole the show, funny, smart, brave... Pure fire. And Declan, what a man, devoted, strong and witty. So much charm in this book.
