Good movie, they seem to have done a good job with the disc.
I really enjoyed this movie (despite what many critics said.) As far as the 4k disc itself is concerned, the movie quality seemed to be pretty solid. I have not had any problems with disc so far. I got it week 1 of release, so future printings may vary in quality.

Really Not as Horrible as Everyone Says
It had flaws, yes, but overall I thought it was quite good. I found it thrilling in parts, moving in other parts. The exorcism scene was well filmed and intense. And the 2 girls did VERY good in their acting.

The Exorcist: Underachiever
Just finished watching this movie and it is safe to say that 'Exorcist II: The Heretic' is no longer the worst film of the franchise as it has now been usurped by 'Exorcist: Believer'. The "director" aka David Gordon Green is now doing to the 'Exorcist' as to what he did with 'Halloween'. Please stop. No character development, no genuine scares, you don't really give a good gosh darn over anyone in the film since the characters are one-dimensional. Every cliché of today's Hollywood social mores are present and on full display in this fifth (and unfortunately new trilogy) of jumbled mess of a movie called: 'Exorcist: Believer'. It came across as an anti-religious film, that wound up relying on faith in religion to expel the baddies. For a film that runs one-hundred-and-fifty-one-minutes, there was a whole lot of nothing going on except Southern Georgia Stereotypes. SPOILER WARNING. SPOILER WARNING. SPOILER WARNING. Chris McNeil (Ellen Burstyn) is confronted by the demon and the demon somehow recognizes her and indicates that they have met before. That would be impossible. The demon that the McNeil family encountered in the original Exorcist was named Pazuzu. The demon in this film is named Lamashtu. So, they had in fact, not met before. A complete waste of time and I am glad that both William Friedkin and William Peter Blatty are not around to hear or see how bad of a film this one is. Folks, stick to the original and 'Exorcist III: Legion'. Those are all around great and tense films with great direction, acting, story writing and storytelling. Also, one of the "writers" on this film, is the same "writer" that wrote the screenplay for 'Insidious: The Red Door' and that writer's name is Scott Teems and Teems is NOT someone who is up to the task of character development or capable of writing a cohesive story. I honesty did not care about any of the one-dimensional characters in this movie. I fell asleep (for about two-minutes) during the exorcism. I woke up and was dismayed that the film was not yet over. This is also the first Exorcist film to not be a Warner Bros. picture.
