Such an improvement over my old G2. First, it is at least twice the brightness. Yeah I know, 600 lumens vs 320. But seeing is believing. My old G2 pales in comparison. Second, the switch cap makes ALL the difference. I had to spin the cap on the older, but the new is a momentary on or click on. This allowed me to flush mount the light on my AR mount making it more comfortable to activate. Surefire hit a homer on this light. Great price for what you get. Good job Surefire. Recommended highly as a handheld or weapon mounted light. A five star plus!!!

Very rugged and dependable. I own several. This one is mounted on an AR. I EDC the Maxvision version with a Thyrm pocket clip. And I have another in my tool box at work for backup.

Surfire for the win. Never had a dud from this company. I put this on an 870P police trade in as a weapon mounted light. I like the single mode, and the clicky tailcap for this purpose. Nice and bright, bit more of a flood than a spot. It's as bright as other lights and drop ins I have, that claim to have more lumens than the G2Xt. Buy with confidence, good bang for the buck.

Love this flashlight! It’s so bright and perfect size for at work. I’ve had it a couple months now and still haven’t had to charge it. Granted I use it maybe 5 mins tops 4 days a week for work but I still have 3 bars of charge left.

Purchased to use for work (law enforcement). It’s a great size and very comfortable to carry. Nice and bright. BUT holy cow the batteries are going to kill me. I’m changing batteries about every other shift (#nightshiftlife) and 24 batteries will run you about $36. Bought a rechargeable Streamlight to use as my primary instead but will be keeping this as a backup.

Gets hot after a few minutes

I bought this to replace one that I lost at night. The button still allows you to depress to light option. You can now also click it to stay on which I like better than the screw to stay on.
