Not only does this product do a wonderful job in cleaning the windows, but also screens, at my house those were very dirty from regular "dirt," an excessive pollen season and also some mold and/or mildew.Since this Modern Domus includes the microfiber cloth the wand is very soft, it worked well to use it on the screens. Really happy with this set. Made cleaning my windows so much easier. I gave the sturdiness 3 stars because the handle popped off the end (don’t really need it), and I’m concerned the plastic won’t hold up over time. Ive used it once to clean all my windows (inside and out), and I have 18 windows, and it did a great job and held up fine so far. Even if I only get a few uses out of it, I will still feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth.

Yesterday was a perfect day here for window cleaning so I had the opportunity to try out the Modern Domus cleaning kit I'd bought here on Amazon. I'd also purchased the Ettore 86000 Compact Super Bucket that proved to be the perfect combination. I've got a lot of glass on our first floor and tend to put off the cleaning effort since the required effort with spray window cleaner/paper towel approach is a real challenge - and after the fact, you inevitably notice numerous spots where you've left streaking and have to redo. This kit was a remarkable improvement. The task was dramatically easier, took less than half the time, and provided impressive results. The scrubbers worked as promised, the squeegees were high quality and easily cleared the cleaner traces from the glass, left nearly zero streaks, and were easy to use on their own and with the handle extension. The kit could not improve the annoying issue of screen & grid removal from the windows but in every other facet of the job, the kit cut the effort by 60-80% while also leaving absolutely minimal end-of-job wrap up effort; Modern Domus Professional Window Cleaning Kit - Ultimate Window Washer Tool with 5 in 1 Cleaning Scrubber | Includes 2 Squeegees & 2 Microfiber Heads + 1 Long Handle Telescopic Extension Pole byessentially no trash generated. This does what it says it does so for that it gets good score. Price point, it is appropriately priced for what you get and the quality of it compared to something more professional. For the average person wanting to ditch the paper towel and windex way of cleaning windows, it does an ok job. I do have 2 complaints and the first is that you can't lock the squeegee in the opposite direction of the cleaning pad. This is a big pain in the rear. You can insert it into the top portion backwards but it isn't the most stable unless you jam it in there and I'm not sure you want to do that. The other issue is with the squeegee itself. The problem there is that I found myself scraping the window with the metal edge. I sure don't want to scratch the glass! You just have to be really careful while pressing and turning to remove the water. The rubber does a nice job on a straight pull but it does take some practice to get the hang of it. For the money it did what it was supposed to and the cleaning cloths seem pretty absorbent and worked well with my cleaner. One of the cloths however, did not have the stitching to hold it on the one end opposite the velcro side. Not a big deal since I can sew and take care of that, but obviously, that is a quality control issue.

I was very pleased with this box full of gear. I assumed at this fairly low price, the pole would be flimsy. Not so, it’s pretty sturdy. I really liked the front & back setup of the squeegee and washing sponge. Use the liquid detergent (Ettore “Squeegee Off”) as specified, and you’ll get your windows clean and mostly streak free with this setup. One caveat: a couple of my windows are near birch and white pine trees. The birch trees shed tiny seeds, some of which stick to the window. These can not be removed with just a sponge and soap. These need a light scour pad. And the sap from the pine tree needs special treatment as well. But if the windows have just “regular” dirt and dust, this kit will work quite nicely with the proper detergent. Would recommend, especially at this price.

I used it to clean my manhattan windows (they get really bad). Lets face it, there isn't much to this..Its a stick with a cloth attached to it. The clothe quality was good..absorbent and soft. the stick was stury and light, so easy to manage. This one has a small squeegee so i can fit it inside a standard bucket which is what i wanted.. IT comes with a large one too but i didn't use it.Net of it is it cleaned my windows pretty easily. So for a little over $20, its fine to use.. Sure beats paying someone $100+ to do it for you.

No more ladders for me! This all-in-one product completely meets my need to easily wash the exterior windows of my house. I only wish it would have come with instructions. I figured out a few problems from trial-and-error, but written instructions would be helpful. Also, the squeegee doesn't do the best job on the edges of the windows, so I do still need to touch those up after washing the rest of the window. For the price, this is a good product.
