These lights are high quality, durable, easy to use and very bright. We use these regularly in the home when power goes out, but they would be great for camping. They are light and easy to carry. Highly recommend having these on hand they are superior to a flash light for lighting your way in my opinion.

My uncle and cousin was admiring my lantern so I purchased both of them one. The freeze came through knocking out the electricity for SEVERAL weeks. THIS lantern was their ONLY form of light and also charging capability. HE bragged and bragged and bragged about it! I was SO happy to hear it!! It was SO bright! I have used it multiple times walking to my car in the pitch black dark and it gave me perfect visibility!

Nice and bright lantern. Has multiple light levels. The solar panel works great. Nice to be able to charge with it.

Make sure you read the instruction book to learn how to change your between settings! They charge very well in the sun, and I love that has batteries for back up! It makes power outages, less scary!

Nice and big, and bright. In fact, mine arrived in packaging advertising 3,000 lumens, so it is actually a thousand lumens brighter than its Amazon page claims. I don't know if there is a new model, if that is the reason, buy I was pleasantly surprised when I found out. Also, the battery is 4400 mWh according to the box, so if you intend to use this lantern to charge other things, it's got a pretty decent battery as well. You can even flip up the solar panel, set a phone down on top of it and charge wirelessly. Overall, I am very impressed, and I haven't even bothered to get any D-cell batteries for mine yet.

This lamp is going almost 2 years now, I love how it's multi functional. It's a solar charge lamp, it's rechargeable also uses batteries. Perfect for when electricity is out. This was handy when hurricane Melissa pass.W had no electricity but we charge it up in the sun and when it rain, we use batteries as a source of power.It also can charges you phone.

Lightweight and gives off a tremendous amount of light. Also has various brightness settings. I have a Maglight that is good for spot applications but this lantern will easily light up a room. Great for those occasions where the power goes out. I love that it will recharge via solar or USB. Even works on D cell batteries. I wish I had this when camping years ago. Much better and safer than my old Coleman Lantern which I still have. Fits nicely on a shelf in my kitchen area (see picture) My daughter purchased one and I just had to get one for myself.

Bought this after a power cut and, found wanting. Candles inadequate and torches sad through underuse. This brilliant. Charge it up at no cost, could even put it outside to charge it solar in the summer. We are 76 and needed something to rely on. Very happy with this. Recommend.

Very bright and useful lamp, for a good price.

Fantastic strong light (dimmable) and no chance of it running out of power. I used it camping this weekend but found it difficult to find the On Button during the middle of the night. When I got home I glued a rubber knob onto the Start button so I could FEEL where the button was. That works a treat. I wish the manufacturer would correct this only flaw and raise the button so it can be felt when blind.

I like it so much, I bought a second one. I use this light for camping and also as emergency power outage back up. When I am camping I use on low and it lasted the week without having to recharge. I use it quite a bit at night when camping so I was surprised. When I used it on high it lasted about a day to day and a half so I don't use it on high at all. The lower light is strong enough. Amazing light.
