This coffee machine is great and has a huge selection of drinks to choose from and somecold too. It fits perfectly on my worktop. You can set profiles so it remembers your coffee settings and you can choose your intensity and even add an extra shot. I bought some double wall coffee cups which really shows off the layers of some drinks. I have found the temperature of the drinks to be perfect which I was pleasantly surprised with as some other machines I have read reviews on have had issues with this. I think there might also be a setting on this machine where you can adjust the temperature too. The machine gives you instructions on the display and walks you through any process whether that be making a drink or cleaning the machine. The milk frother can be disconnected and placed in the fridge to keep your mik cool. You can also set the grind settings too. Very pleased with this purchase and it's probably saved me money too on buying expensive takeaway coffee. Five stars from me.

Easy to use makes lovely coffee

Makes good coffee, touch screen is a nice touch. On/Off power button failed after 15 months and it became a useless ornament in kitchen. very expensive to replace every 15 months, in my opinion any positives are marred by this and I just don't see it as worth it.

This machine came well packaged with everything except the coffee beans or milk. The overall size is compact and will fit nicely on the kitchen work surface (under most over head cupboards). + Daily 2-3 cups of tea using the boiling water function and 2 cappuccinos both of which are hotter than most coffee/cafes serving hot drinks which is great! + Coffee taste is very good, but as always, this will depend on your preferred milk/beans choice + Colour LED display walks you thru all coffee making choices and the various cleaning/descaling processes. + 4 different individual profiles (ideal for a family) with choices for coffee, water and milk quantities. + - Grinding coffee is as expected noisy, however, you can increase or decrease the intensity. + _ used coffee comes out (puck like) so easy to dispose of in recycle bin or over/around garden plants. + - Boiling water option (vHot) splashes onto the front of the machine AND just about everywhere else, including our work surface! + - For the cost, build quality is not great but machine is currently available in three different colour choices. - Noisy for most functions (grinding coffee, frothing milk and boiling water), but then kettles are noisy! - Be aware, you will be forever cleaning the machines drip tray and filling the water tank. - Lots of plastic to the sides and top make this look cheaper than the machine costs! I was lucky enough to get this machine via the recent 2 day prime day offers so got a really good deal and in all honesty I would NOT pay the average selling price, so shop around! Overall coffee is 5 stars, machine use/cleaning 2 stars and it's noisy so 2 stars, so overall 3 stars

My partner bought this for herself, however now I'm using it a ton too so thought I would review it. I love it, it's easy to maintain, does great coffee and has a large range of options. I love the profiles too since I'm not as much of a coffee obsessed soul as my partner, so I can create them weaker for my uncultured tastes. It doesn't take up too much space and it reminds you to clean it on the regular so it doesn't ever overflow or wait until it's nearly full then start crying at you. Plus it does boiling water or just hot milk, so we don't need to heat milk in a pan/microwave and we can throw away the kettle.

After struggling with a previous model that had a portafilter and a rear water tank we switched to this far less messy, BRILLIANT machine that churns out our personalised coffees to perfection, cup after cup. We wanted a repeatable coffee without having to adjust the grind each time we changed our coffee beans and then had to worry about puck moisture etc, etc. If you have a machine with a portafilter you will know what I mean. Also the water access was an issue for my wife as her shoulder is stuffed. This one is at the front right. Easy access... So we watched all the youtube videos and read all the blurb, set up our mybrew options (tailored to suit coffee in other words) and then took up the virtual demonstration option with a Delonghi coffee expert. His name is Michael and he is a Barista par excellence. This was the icing on the cake. Now SWKE (She Who Knows Everything) wants one in our other home too...and I agree. Cant fault it VERY Happy Customers here...

First machine became faulty on first use not recognising water tank, delonghi helpline could not help and suggested returning to Amazon. Called the tech line and marvellous resolution. Replacement dispatched for next day delivery and original machine being picked up by Royal mail Friday. Replacement machine working perfectly. Needed to adjust the grind size to 5 for the beans i am using as any lower flow too slow and tweak the volumes but so far so good. I only drink milk based coffees and the milk carafe could be bigger but machine settings are easy to follow. Drinks were actually too hot on the max setting so lowered this to medium. May have to tweak the grind size if using different beans but there are instructions under settings on how to do this. Not sure if will use the profiles as I like to customise each drink depending on mood and cup size. A good tip is to keep a cup under coffee spout for the automatic rinse and heat up on shutdown and restart as this saves drip tray filling up. Was hesitant after faulty one but now happy chose this machine.

The Delonghi Magnifica Plus is the best one I've tried, way better than the Evo, and totally worth it.

I was so excited about this coffee machine but then what I got is not working. Watched all and followed the possible trouble shooting but didn’t worked. So frustrated. I wanted De’ Longi to change it with a coffee machine that’s working but they don’t have that option instead refund and buy again. So hassle.
