David Bowie T
I stumbled on to a few of these Junk Food Co. T-Shirts. I love how it looks like I spent hours thrifting, wore out my favorite T, or held on to a shirt forever without having to do any of that. It’s just an easy way to approach a vintage look. I feel effortlessly cool whenever I am wearing one. They fit as expected (a little oversized) and are so comfortable. I did get several after trying just one, and they are a little addictive. I think they look great on me, my husband, or any of our teenagers. They would make a good gift. These are premium t-shirts that I anticipate will last years, and as such, the price is comparable to what I’d expect to pay. This one is a homage to David Bowie. The printing has a vintage feel and there is some fraying to add to the timeless appeal. I was thinking of this one for my daughter but ended up having to have it for myself. I am a David Bowie fan, and the shirt embodies his glam rock vibe. It’s the kind of t-shirt that you pull out of the laundry pile, happy it’s clean and wear it again before you have a chance to fold it. I already got a couple of compliments on it!

Nice shirt, not a $50 shirt
I'm a big fan of Bowie, and a big fan of cool shirts... this checks both boxes. It's a well made shirt with quality fabrics, really good screenprinting and the general construction is pretty solid. Fabric is thicker than most t-shirts, but not overwhelmingly so. Just a heavier weight cotton. There is intentional aging and wear throughout, the collar is nicked up, substantial fading on the graphic and stressed seams. It looks like a shirt that's been in my closet for years without actually being worn to crap. Fit is pretty good, it's on the fitted side but not SUPER tight. The fabric also relaxes after a little while of being close to body heat. It's pretty soft, no softer than any other heavyweight t-shirt, but it's not itchy or uncomfortable either. Like i said, i really like the screen printing and the images pop even with the amount of distressing that was added to it. My only complaint is the price. I get that so many brands are trying to establish themselves as luxury or lifestyle brands, but that's a title that's earned... not self-bestowed by charging fifty bucks for a shirt. This shirt would sell all day for half the price and still turn a good profit.

Super comfy tee!
Just snagged this vintage tee, and it's my new wardrobe hero. The vibes are strong with this one – comfy, cool, and Bowie's faces? Pure genius.

Soft, Comfortable, and True to Size
A nice looking, comfortable t-shirt, keeping it simple with a timeless icon. The pictures do this justice - as the graphics have a faded but clean color and print, with the colors still adding to the style. The shirt is softer and more comfortable than your average budget cotton shirt, but may have a little more of an insulatory effect if you sweat at the first signs of warmth like me. It does feel pretty breathable, though. Sizing was true, and it has a modern fit, not super loose - and complimentary to many body types with the right size choice. The collar and arm areas, I believe show purposeful wear, to give it more of a grunge look on purpose, which I don't mind, and doesn't stand out too apparently - but will update this review if putting on a gentle wash cycle does an unreasonable amount of damage, which it doesn't seem like it will. If you have this kind of budget for a T-shirt and like the style, this is a safe bet.

HIGHLY irritating tags
This is a wonderful T-Shirt, and I’d have given it 5 stars, if it weren’t for the itchy, scratchy, aggravating tags on the neck. Something needs to be done about them - either remove them and go tagless, or sew it flat.Besides that, the quality is excellent. They’ve made every effort to achieve a vintage look to the shirt - an off white colour, which is what 20 years of washing would look like, and then the frayed edges at hem, neck nd sleeve ends. The graphic also looks kind of faded, and it genuinely does look like one you’ve had for years. The material isn’t stiff either, it’s a softer cotton, as it would be if it had been washed a lot. It’s a great fit, i got XXL as i like a roomy t shirt, i hate when they're too snug, but this is a little roomier than i expected, so I’d say it’s a true XXL, and of a good enough length to cover my rear end.I love it, and i am going to see if i can remove the tags, because that’s the only thing that lets it down.
