Best thing I’ve used
Ive been dealing with tonsil stones for about a year or so but it never seemed to bad, but after buying this and using for the first time i was shocked by how bad it actually was on the first use i was able to completely clean both my tonsils and had no more stones the tool is very easy to use and works great if youre dealing with stones please buy this it may take some time to get use to it but its worth it, even if you have a bad gag reflex this tool is very comfortable and the more you use it the easier it is

This Tool Works for Me
For reference, I brush, floss, and gargle twice a day, so I have pretty good oral health. From my point of view looking at my throat, I do not have visible pockets in my tonsils. However, likely from occasional post nasal drip, colds, occasional silent gerd, not drinking enough water, and perhaps tonsil anatomy, I will get a sort of vertical tonsil stone that will peek out from BEHIND my right tonsil. Sometimes I feel it has broken off and I've swallowed it :( But sometimes I can see it ever-so-slowly growing and peeking out more and more each day. I know tonsil stones can emit a VERY UNPLEASANT ODOR, so I therefore want to remove it before it becomes noxious. I shine a flashlight in my mouth with my left hand, squeeze the bulb completely with my right hand, say "Ahhh," keep my eyes on the target, and send the tip of the tube into my mouth gently but FAST. As SOON as it passes into the open space of my throat and curves toward the back side of right tonsil, I ease toward the stone, and release the bulb. In that split second moment, I can hear the suction, and the hard bit gets sucked into tube for rinsing away. I consider myself to have a strong gag reflex, and I am not one to poke around in my throat because I understand that's not a healthy and safe thing to do. But when I see the stone, I prep, and I get in and out FAST. That's when I can successfully remove the stone. I cannot guarantee this will work for you because your stones may be more tightly embedded, you might have deeper pockets, or your anatomy might just be different. But this works for me. Afterwards, I continue to brush, floss, and gargle twice a day, and only a few weeks later might I feel the need to suction from that same spot again. I would recommend this product as it is relatively safe, effective, and cost effective. The suction is pretty strong, in my opinion. Touching your tonsils or back of the tongue or throat is not pleasant, but if you work gently but FAST, you'll get more skilled and won't be too bad.

Very helpful for getting tonsil stones, but it's hard to use the suction feature
I love the O-shaped attachment that allows me to gently coax the tonsil stone out, like a satisfying accomplishment. This was the main reason I bought thisThe light helps me to easily see where the ugly little stones are hiding. I haven't used the scoop attachments, and for now I don't see the need to (I had a previous one [a different brand] that was a scoop, and, trust me, the ring shaped attachment is much better). The second reason I got this was for the suction/squirting bulb. I was really excited to use it until I saw that it doesn't light up. So you either have to blindly guess where to use it or feel like your playing Operation on your mouth by using both the bulb and the device that lights up at the same time. So I've basically given up on using the bulb. The box didn't come with specific directions, other thann to go to the Oravix site for how to videos and tips. But when I went to the site, I got 404 errors whenever I clicked on the links with the instructions. So for the O-shaped attachment I'd say 5 stars, but with the other instruments and instructions, it brings it down to 4. I will, however, continue to use it!

Worth the money
It worked. very user friendly I did not have to struggle to figure out all the bits and pieces of the light that comes with the tonsil cleaner helps with the suction / spray feature overall very satisfied looks like it did what was intended

Angle of the attachable pipes
It works well but at the same time I'll most likely never use it again (I'll explain). My only gripe is the attachable "pipes". This product and others designed to compete with it don't offer a offer a straight pipe attachment(s) (I didn't see any during my search), you get two pipes with different sized openings both at 45 degree angles. I wish this company or another would offer a straight pipe(s). Keep the different sized openings, but make them both straight. Other than that it "works" fine, strong suction, good pressure when using it to irrigate tonsils. In practice I just found it a hassle to use because of the angle of the pipe(s). If your tonsil crypt that gets stones is like mine this probably won't work good for you. I have to push the flap (I don't know what to call it, but it covers part of the tonsil up) inside my mouth that covers the tonsil crypt I'm trying to get at out of the way. If the tool was straight I could use the tool to keep it pinned out of the way, and suck the offending stones out of there (or irrigate the hole). Anyway, hope this helps someone.

Don't waste your time!!!!
I don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from?! I unfortunately was born with deep pits in my tonsils, which causes me to get nasty tonsil stones. Every night is like a surgical procedure in my bathroom trying to remove these things! I've tried it all! Qtips, toothbrush, nail utensils, my fingers to no avail! I had high hopes for this device! But alas, all it did was flood my mouth with barely pressured water but sucked with the intensity of a Hoover! You would have to place it PERFECTLY over the hole, and even then it would still suck up the sides! I'm sorry, but I don't have the time, or the gag reflex, to be playing around in my mouth all night trying to "suck" these little demons out! If you are wanting something that actually WORKS, I suggest you look elsewhere, because this tool is just a huge waste of time and money!!

Estoy encantada.

Volle Empfehlung!
