It clearly states 0.32" thick when collapsed in the specifications. Just read the item description.

Yes it is just a strong tape that holds them in place. use a razor blade to lift the edge up. use rubbing alcohol to clean any leftover residue.

That's what the information on the package says but I haven't tried to remove it. It does work as advertised. It is just adhesive tape on the glass so I assume it would come off without any damage to the glass.

No. They are hard to remove and even then you have to get the glue off with gasoline or something similar.
