They're okay for summer jackets and lightweight things. My motorbike jacket, winter jackets and even my dressing gown bent these. Luckily I bought the large pack so was able to double them up. They are different sized ends which is a great feature so they fit over a standard door snugly and our thicker doors which are fire proof doors. Without causing the usual damage to the door frame. Just need to be made out of sprung steel or a heavier duty metal rather than aluminium and they'd be great. Also for what they are. They're a bit on the dearer side.
