Delightfull

Vernon, a fan of a fictional musician called Alex Bleach, lives a life that is full of sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. Many characters that tell a lot about France pass before his eyes but, unfortunately, they don't help him nor the story to achieve a degree of interest worth mentioning. I found the book pretty dull and predictable.

Excellent livre. Portrait fascinant et un peu noir d'un monde désabusé qui s'écroule.

Es ist ein wenig mit "heißer Nadel gestrickt", mehr Lektorat hätte ihm ganz gut getan.Meiner Meinung nach ist es kein Paris-Buch und nicht so wirklich französisch (also: anders;-). Es ist sicher nichts für landverbundene Provinzler. Es ist ein Buch der Großstadt-Generation von 1969. Auch der, der nicht in der "Szene" lebt(e), liest mit Lust über das, was ihn in der Stadt vertraut umgibt.

Un gran libro. Una coral de personajes que te colocan en el Mundo underground, trans, burgues.... y todos ellos retratados de una manera absolutamente sincera y personal. Excepcional!

Superbe ! Un petit cote Houellebecq en moins desespere...
