Easy to set up as it comes with the SIM card already inside, although that’s easy to pop in. Is a very good quality. My son loves tracking his steps on it and it’s very accurate. The battery life is very good. It looks super cool. I think this is brilliant value for money with the amount of things you can do with it, take pictures, play games, call and message and also track where your child is with the app!

Only leaving one star because I can't do zero. This was awful. My husband set it up, couldn't get the GPS to work & couldn't make phone calls from the watch. Spent hours trying to sort it out. Tried factory reset to start again & it still didnt work. Absolutely awful. Do not recommend!!!

I purchased this Xplora watch for my 8 year old daughter. This watch is such a lightweight design , it's easy to use and really simple for the kids to enjoy. It has a messaging option that can only be used to the people that are designated to on the Xplora app. It has a camera, photo folder and steps counter. The steps counter enabled you to earn coins on the app so you can play games and earn more rewards. The watch has a gps tracker which is very accurate and enables you to see where your child is. The SOS feature when in trouble enables the watch to call you and the app sets an alarm off to alert you . I usually turn the school mode on when my daughter's at school so shes unable to use the features to she concentrates on her school work rather than playing on the watch. This can be switched on to your preference. Overall this watch is fantastic! Im very happy with all the features. It's a must buy for for any parent!

Why did you choose this product over others?: Product itself is great as an entry level watch for your children. The call functionality is great as is the accompanying app. The failing of the watch is on the text front. The wearer cannot message back other than with an emoji. This was disappointing and limited the functionality and practicality of what we were looking for On this occasion this did not meet our expectations/criteria and returned and replaced with an Apple Watch for our daughter. During the test the battery life was great and set up was really easy. Perfect watch for a counter wearer but our 8year old wanted a little more

My daughter is 7 years, and is interested in my phone saying she would like her own phone. I really didn't want her to have a phone yet and feel she is too young. However I came across this and felt this was a good compromise. I love that there is a school setting where all the additional features such as making calls and sending messages can be turned off and my daughter can just use the watch as a clock. This makes it easy for me as she can just use one watch all the time. She absolutely loved being able to call me on her watch and I loved that I could check who she had called and messaged on the app that you download. I had some issues with the the first watch that was sent to me, however was able to contact customer services who quickly rectified the issue and send me a brand new watch out. The GPS feature is also nice but she is with me or others in the family all the time at the moment anyway, however will be great feature for older children who are starting to go out with their mates and without an adult. My daughter also loved the stop watch feature and timed herself doing a loop running round the house. Charging the watch is very easy, and the battery lasts all day it it's being used appropriately. Overall I'm really impressed and a hundred percent made the right decision in not getting a phone at the age of 7 for my daughter and actually feel this might help to delay purchasing a phone for her for even longer now. Great idea!!

My 8 year old son has been using this watch for about a month now and he really likes it. He loves bright colours and so the blue watch was perfect for him and it fits his small wrist nicely. The interface is really easy for him to navigate and he likes to customise the face and count his steps. We do use it with a SIM card plan and so he can call restricted contacts and also send voice messages, it’s easy to manage his contacts to family using the Xplora app. I like that I can use the app to view his location, whilst he doesn’t go out on his own it’s reassuring to know we can use it if we need to. All in all it’s a good way to give him a little independence, whilst not having to go down the phone route. Would recommend.

I had high hopes for this GPS watch. My son is 9 and we wanted a way to track him in case he got separated from us while out. We thought this would be ideal. How wrong we were. Firstly, the call feature works ok. He can call me and I can call him. I can send him texts/emojis and he can send voice notes and emojis - most of the time. But this is less reliable than the calls. The main feature we wanted is the GPS tracking.However, it’s useless. It took two days after setting the watch up to be finally located on the GPS page! 95% of the time I get an error message saying that the location cannot be updated. I am using the SIM card that came with it (another £90 cost for the use of the sim for a year) and we are in a perfectly good reception area, but location still doesn’t update. We have been away on a short break and it didn’t update there either. My son likes that he can call us, but if he is in danger or lost, chances are i won’t be able to locate where he is! I have emailed the company about the GPS problems and an automated email was sent back. I tried everything that the email suggested, and then replied with more information like it asked. A week later and I am still waiting for a response. Looks like they can’t be bothered. I wish I hadn’t bothered with this watch, and just got a cheap phone and put the Life 360 app on it like I have with my daughter. The Life 360 app is 10000% better than this!!! In short, spend your money elsewhere and not on this watch.

Compramos el reloj de Xplora porque no queríamos entregar un teléfono móvil a nuestra hija y estamos encantados. Es muy fácil de usar, podemos comunicarnos rápidamente, conocer su ubicación y la app que descargas en el móvil es muy fácil de usar. Recomendable al 100x100

Die XPLORA Kidzi Uhr ist eine wirklich gute Wahl für Kinder, besonders für Erstklässler. Sie ist einfach zu bedienen und bietet viele praktische Funktionen wie Anrufe, Nachrichten, GPS-Ortung und einen Schulmodus. Besonders gefällt mir, dass man jederzeit sehen kann, wo sich das Kind befindet – das gibt ein sicheres Gefühl im Alltag. Auch die zusätzlichen Features wie Kamera und Schrittzähler kommen bei Kindern sehr gut an und machen die Uhr noch interessanter. Insgesamt eine tolle Kombination aus Sicherheit und Spaß – klare Empfehlung für Eltern!

We love this watch for our 10-year-old daughter. She can call us, text us, take photos when she wants, and we know, in a radius of approximately 5 km, where she is. Telephones are forbidden but not watches. We’re not worried about social media and since it’s tied to her wrist, she can’t lose it! I strongly recommend this watch for parents who do not want their kids to have phones at the age of 10!

Fun watch for kids. The screen scratches too easily, so be prepared for it look damaged after one day of use. Watch also requires a monthly subscription fee. Did not know that when purchased.

Wir haben die „XPLORA Kidzi Smartwatch“ für unsere sechsjährige Tochter gekauft, die bald in die Schule kommt. Die Uhr bietet das nötigste und nicht zu viel Schnickschnack, worauf wir großen Wert gelegt haben. Die für uns wichtigsten Funktionen wie Anrufe, GPS-Ortung, SOS-Funktion und Nachrichten sind vorhanden. Unsere Tochter kann uns auch eine Voicemail schicken, die wir dann in der XPLORA App abhören können. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass man bei den Kontakten kleine Bilder hat - drückt unsere Tochter auf Papas Foto, ruft sie Papa an, drückt sie auf Mamas Foto, ruft sie Mama an. Das macht die Bedienung kinderleicht und intuitiv. Auch der Schulmodus ist praktisch, damit die Uhr im Unterricht nicht stört. Die Uhr gibt unserer Tochter auch mehr Sicherheit, wenn sie mal ohne Mama oder Papa in der Kita oder bald in der Schule ist. Einziges Manko, der Akku hält leider nicht allzu lange, was ich aber auch von meiner eigenen Smartwatch kenne. Für den Alltag reicht es dennoch aus, wenn man sie Abends lädt und nicht den ganzen Tag damit „rum spielt“. Die Ortungsfunktion gibt mir als Elternteil ein Gefühl von Sicherheit. Vor allem kann man direkt kommunizieren und anrufen, falls mal etwas komisch scheint. Wir hatten vorher nur einen normalen GPS Tracker für Sie und damit ging so etwas natürlich nicht. Optisch ist die Uhr mit dem Plastikband für die dünnen Handgelenke unserer Tochter zwar etwas klobig, aber wir haben ein rosa Klett-Armband nachbestellt und nun sitzt sie deutlich besser und sieht sogar richtig süß aus. Insgesamt finde ich die Uhr sehr praktisch für mehr Sicherheit und Erreichbarkeit im Alltag, auch wenn Akku und Größe noch verbessert werden könnten. Wir hoffen natürlich auf die Langlebigkeit des Akkus. Wir möchten auf die Kinder Smartwatch nicht mehr verzichten und werden auch mit Sicherheit den Nachfolger holen wenn sie größer ist. Ich hoffe das ich ihnen mit meiner Rezension weiterhelfen konnte.
