I am glad I bought it
I wanted to buy another quiet vacuum cleaner when my much beloved bosch prosilence 59 died. There are a lot of mixed reviews about this c3 silence ecoline so I was really confused but decided to buy and see how it performs because I can not stand using loud vacuum cleaners.First don’t believe who says that this machine does not have a good suction. Eventhough it is 550W , it lifts my rugs even on carpet setting. When placing my order , I was planning to use it on the highest setting. I used it for the first time yesterday and I was amazed and also happy to see how powerful it was. No need to use it on the highest setting all the time. After reading reviews I also bought a turbo brush to use with rugs . The original brush that comes with it does not have any rollers underneat ( my previous bosch had small rollers) which makes it hard to push on rugs and carpets. As long as I understand Miele does it on purpose. They want us to buy the expensive brush (£62) as an extra. This brush should be standart with all C3 series or Miele should put a pair of rollers underneat its cheap foot brush.Anyway, I bought it because I have carpal tunnel on my hands and I did not want to hurt my hands . The brush makes such a big difference in using it over rugs/ carpets. The turbo brush ( the one I bought is called turboteq) glides over rugs and carpets with the help of the rollers. If you have only one rug or carpet I think you don’t need to buy turbo brush, the brush that comes with the machine is not that bad. It is just the turbo brush just makes it very easy and quick to vacuum rugs.Other than that it is a great powerful and quiet machine. I am glad I bought it.

Make sure you also buy the Miele TurboTeq brush head to avoid the 'Too Much Suction' issue..
Don't believe the negative reviews about this - well, not completely at any rate (and certainly not the 1-Star ones)...Yes, this vacuum cleaner is VERY powerful. The trouble is, the cleaning head supplied with it is really only suited to parquet floors. You can control the suction with the slider on the handle (the same as other vacuums) and with the + / - buttons on the machine's body but the bottom line is the supplied head just doesn't work well with carpets. I started out wondering, like others, whether I'd made the right purchase, then bought a different brush head and everything changed (for the better)...Basically, if you're vacuuming carpets you simply MUST buy the Miele TurboTeq brush head (on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0749WMW3X/ ). Whilst that may seem unreasonable (another £65-£80, depending on Amazon price fluctuation), it truly changes the character of the machine. The TurboTeq head has roller brushes built into it which turn due to the suction, giving you pretty much the same performance as an upright vacuum cleaner on carpets. Added to that, it's great for picking up hair from pets. In fact, it's supplied as standard on the C3 Cat & Dog which struck me as a bit counter-intuitive as I would have thought if you have pets and wanted a vacuum cleaner that didn't upset them then a quiet one like this would be better! Still, Miele didn't ask me so what do I know?On the subject of noise, it isn't 'silent' but it is *a lot* less noisy than other vacuums. In fact, it makes less noise than my air purifier when they're both operating next to each other (with the air purifier on full power). The soundproofing adds a bit of weight which, coupled with the sturdy build quality, means it might not be right for you if you have trouble lifting or moving heavy things (particularly on stairs) but if not then it's a worthwhile investment.

As good as Previous one
I had a dog and cat one more than ten years, but the motor sound become so crazy noisy and the bag started not fit well inside machine and dust comes out actual inside of Hoover. So I bought a new one yesterday, it’s so quiet and suck good just as good as Dog and Cat one. It’s worth paying 236 pound as Used my last one lasted more than ten years, it’s worth it rather than buying cheap nasty machine which useless and hardly suck anything. I love Miele always although we in Japan so many good gadgets made in Japan but come to Hoover I love Miele.I still get Email from Miele Japan, hahaha, I had Mile while I was there too, unfortunately it’s different voltage so gave it to my friend.Miele won’t let you down. Only one thing I miss Japanese Hoover, as they have controller near the pipe near where you grip, it’s so easy to stop or change the function instead of going back to the Hoover itself. Hope my shopping Hoover time is another ten years time. But I am happy if last five years, but if survive for ten years it speak good quality. See how it go and write again. But so far I am happy about this one. Also my delivery man was ever so friendly and nice man in the dark cold weather, I appreciate people who carry things especially pandemic period as I was home all time Andy no car so it was difficult to buy bulky things. Thanks for hard working delivery people.

A brilliant Vacuum Cleaner
Personally i think this cleaner is excellent. Our old hoover was just too tired so we bought a very decent cordless, bagless cleaner. Pointless really. Dust went everywhere when you emptied it which was nearly every other room and the power lasted about less than half of the house. We have a mixture of floorboards and carpets plus a dog so needed something a bit versatile and powerful. Cordless and bagless are just useless really. Sent it back and got this and couldn't be happier. There is no worry about doing a quick job because you are worried about the battery running out and the dirt and dust is nicely contained in the bag. its quiet and light and has different settings depending on what you are cleaning. These settings are easily adjustable by foot and the main handle is easily broken down into its component parts when you need it to be. Cable length is excellent as is the size of the bag. A great cleaner and we got it at a good price. First time with Miele so we'll see how it fairs in the long run. We'll probably get a cheaper cordless cleaner but just for those occasions when you need to clean a patch or just a quick whizz around one room.
