Been a long time since I've flown a kite. I like the design and it is pretty sturdy.

We assembled the kite per the instructions- triple checked!One plastic piece broke through the side material almost immediately. It has never once actually gotten up, no matter how much wind there was. Very disappointed kids, and money wasted.

This was really easy to put together and has a major wow factor. It's a beautiful design and a lot of fun to use. It flies great. Unfortunately, it did not last very long. Kites are notorious for breaking easily but i expected this one to last longer for its price. Its still a good kite but be really careful with it.

The colors were vibrant and the design is very fun especially for kids. Just like a lot of other similar kites, you do have to spend a few minutes putting it together with tent poles, but everything fit together well without any issues. If you're flying a kite, you're probably doing so on a windy day or somewhere where the winds are strong like at the beach. I'd recommend putting this together at home or in the car beforehand - I probably wouldn't just stick the packaging (see photo) in your bag because it's more stressful to put together when you're battling wind.Once assembled, there were no problems catching wind and taking flight. It's nice and large. The whole thing is very lightweight. You get the standard thin string and plastic handle which is a bit uncomfortable to hold. Unfortunately, our string got tangled and sure enough it broke. But the quality and durability are similar to other items in this price/quality range so not surprising. I'll probably end up buying another one and just being more careful.

Update: The design of this kite will not keep it in the air. We've had several windy days and unfortunately this kite will not stay in the air, even with tons of help. I'm able to get our family's three other kites flying and stable but this one will not stay up - it flies vertically and will not go horizontal no matter how the wind catches it, so you can only get it so high before it comes crashing down. I tried adjusting the wing span and the tail but nothing works. It looks nice when put together, but is useless as an actual kite (and impossible for kids to fly (unless its literally just above their heads). Cannot recommend this product for kids, sorry.This is a nice kite and looks great. However, it's very difficult to get up in the air for kids. We tried several times (even the adults) to get this up and I think it's just the way the wings are shaped that prevented it from staying up in the sky. The string works great, doesn't tangle, and unravels quite easily when running so it's definitely not that side. The colors and print are great - we just couldn't get it to stay up long enough to glide without constant running. We're going to keep trying but the actual design could be flawed and preventing it from going up without a significant challenge.

We used this kite at a large kite festival yesterday. The falcon design is attractive and the assembly was pretty easy. It took some breeze to get aloft but was fine once it got into the sky.

My thoughts on "SGftre Blue Falcon Eagle Kite for Adult and Kids."This is a relatively large kite that requires strong winds to fly. It includes a few sections and assembling it while the wind blows for sure will be challenging.It also includes plastic on the other side of the beak; I'm not sure why it's not made of the same fabric as the rest of the kite. Frankly, you need to fold it to pack it back to the pouch and it may break at some point. If it were made of the material, it might be more durable, I suppose.There is also a metal link between the kite and the rope that holds it. This metal connector is difficult to attach and disengage from the kite. You should keep it attached, perhaps. Because the point is somewhat sharp, this metal connector has the potential to pull the material off in adverse circumstances.Overall, this is a decent kite. It has an excellent presentation. The hook connecting the line that holds the kite to the kite is sharp and may eventually pull off the kite material. I would give it 4.5 stars, so rounding it to 5.Thanks!
