Earthborn Elements Whole Milk Powder 5 Gallon, Light Sweet Taste, Bulk Size

We’ve gotten this 3 times. We use it to make whole milk for toddler and it’s great! Tastes good and doesn’t clump up. We love the food safe container that’s large but easy to store.

I make hot chocolate mix for Christmas and this powder had great consistency and didn't have a strong powdered milk smell. It was not grainy like some and dissolves well i. I also use it in cooking and baking. Works great for that too. It lasts a long time. And I am using the empty pail for tasks around the house. It seems expensive until you start to use it, then the real value becomes obvious. They do sell it in smaller containers, so get the size you need. It doesn't disappoint.

Extremely expensive per Oz or Gallon. To make a gallon, I used 1 gallon of hot water so it would dissolve properly. Mixed in 2 1/2 cups of powder. it was OK for flavor. Put into fridge to cool. Now, with that said, that equates to 20 Oz of powder minimum per gallon of water. At the $0.47 per Oz, it comes to $9.47 per gallon! Now, would I buy again? Absolutely not. would I recommend you buy it, not unless you have no other choice. At no point should this powdered milk, even if freeze dried, be that expensive. If you can get it for around $3 - $4 per gal, then yes. The other issue is an intentional lack of proper labeling: Mix instructions? Organic? Pastureized? Homogeneous? This was a risky purchase so, just don't waste your money, find a certified organic product and do a serious per Oz comparison. I'm throwing myself under the bus for your sake so you don't have too. I don't expect the seller to offer and value added response to this but I'll wait and see.

Nice sturdy 5 gallon bucket. Arrived sealed and undamaged. the lid is like a 5 gallon paint bucket lid. Sealed and just need to break the seal. Probably will buy a screw on lid for easy opening.
