Bee Escape Porter Style (Set of 4 Pcs)

They work, but they don’t fit the hole of the inner cover. If I put them in the hole, there are “bumps” on the edges that prevent them from seating all the way down. I noticed the bees would be stuck. If I layer them on the bars and then put the inner cover on with the hole over the escape, the bees could exit and not return. Use a little smoke. It took about a day, but much easier and gentler to remove bees from the honey supers.

Worked fine on my hives. With the standard oblong hole in the inner cover, (I had to change mine because I used a hole saw to make the hole) these set right in from the top. I put a piece of tape on each just to hold it in place but I don't think even that is needed.So, with these you don't need another escape board, just use the inner cover for a few days.

I installed these to clear out a super.I had bees that were still able to go both ways through the escape.I finally cleaned out the remaining bees by hand with a brush.

Good escape. Plastic is cleanable and can be put in the dishwasher.

Best value, 4 for the ave cost of 2. Great quality for the price.

I've not been impressed with these. I put these on two hives and they failed to work on both hives. To be sure I wasn't the problem, I put a couple of my old escapes on the hives and they worked.The difference is that my old escapes have metal inner tabs while these new (being sold here) escapes have plastic tabs.

Didn't work. Bees couldn't get through it (and yes, I am sure I had correct side down).

Total junk, do not work!!
