First and foremost, these clippers are excellent — but they deserve respect. These are not your average box-store nail clippers. They are genuinely sharp, and I don’t mean “pop a fragile balloon” sharp; I mean use-with-care sharp. They will easily cut through thick, hard nails, and they will do the same to soft tissue if you’re careless. That’s not a criticism at all — it’s actually a testament to how well they’re made and how effectively they do their job. Just be aware that the first couple of times you use them, you may nick or poke yourself if you’re not paying attention. That said, they do exactly what they advertise and exactly what they’re designed to do. Full stop. Highly recommended.

My brother is partially disabled from an almost fatal car accident. He has some presen memory loss and manual dexterity issues. He forgets to cut his toenails when he cuts his fingernails, as I discovered, and has difficulty in doing it, so he puts it off or forgets. His toenails were horrific. Regular nail clippers couldn't even begin to go over the nails. I ordered these hoping they might work, but doubtful anything other than a podiatrist could get them somewhere near normal. I am amazed. These clippers have a wider opening and sharper blade edges than anything we have had before. It did take some maneuvering on both of his great toes to get around the nails, but these clippers did it easily. They really work great. I had to cut them for him as they were so twisted and long and he doesn't have the flexibility or dexterity to handle that mess. These are great clippers and I most definitely recommend them. The sleeve case is nice, but the clippers are fantastic. He is so much more comfortable now and I have learned I need to check his toenails for myself every couple of months since it seems his present memory loss is advancing. You will be happy with these clippers.

These clippers are a 100% improvement over my last pair. They are extremely sharp which makes it effortless to cut the nails. The plastic handles on the one clipper makes it easier to handle & grip, the upward angled of the other clipper make it easier to cut the toe nail saving your back and wrist, the angled blade on the third clipper make it easier to get into those tight places of the nail, and the tools are a great help as well.

Brief review thanks to some issues with hands that have reduced strength and dexterity, the very reason I purchased these—and they provide the leverage and help I had hoped for. Plus, they are designed and packaged with enough cachet to make them a great little gift in their price range. Both the tools and their packaging are quite elegant, which was a pleasant surprise, and I think they would make a thoughtful surprise gift for someone who has been mentioning frustration with their current set. Recent purchase so can’t speak to durability but appears well made and sturdy.

These are by far the best toenail clippers I have ever used. As a senior I do find it hard to reach to clip my toenails with standard units but these, they made it so easy and really sharp they went through my thick nails with no effort. The design and length of the handle allows me to cut though the thickest nails easily. Thank you.
