Having a pretty substantial beard, I've tried several different beard oils and balms over the last several months. This is my favorite scent and texture so far.I don't know that I would've named the scent "woodsy oak" because I don't get much of a tree smell at all. I have another oil, that is in-your-face cedar. Like you've been using a table saw to repair your deck. I'm getting more of a light lavender vibe from this oil. Either way, I really like it.I like the dispenser a lot. I found that it truly does prevent dandruff and flaking, helps restore shine, and softens coarse thick hair. The scent of this is so refreshing without being over the top. It gives a little bit of a change to the every day beard oil has been using and is a great moisturizing for the hair when it starts seeming like it is drying out. Just takes a small amount in the early morning after his shower and he is good to go.
