I use this light in my kitchen window with a separate timer. I like that it didn’t have a timer built in because all the units with a timer are only for turning it off, not back on. This put out enough light to keep my plants thriving but still looks nice in my kitchen.Not really sure why someone said it’s difficult to install, that wasn’t my experience at all.

Great side lighting for cannabis helps getting ride of the shadows. Runs very cool

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM, POORLY MADE. The sliders need to be knocked in with a hammer then use a punch and hammer at base or it breaks easily. I used a lot of materials like drill, sheet metal screws, special wire clips to redesign. Oh and if you try to open side panel, even special screw drivers that I own stripped them.
