Splashy the Splashdown Potty Trainer

I returned this item, did not fit any one of our toilets, tried it on all 3 and it was a no go. Very disappointed as I so need a backdrop of some sort to catch the pee pee from going back behind the ring and making a mess, oh the joy of have 2 little boys:)

PROS: quick easy installationCONS: noise maker arrived broken, splash guard prevents only MINIMAL splash back, because of the tension my toilet seat broke after a few months of use, kind of a pain to cleanOVERALL: i threw mine away. i would not recommend this splash guard. i was hoping for a splash guard that would prevent all splashing around the toilet and walls, this worked only minimally, then i believe the tension of this guard eventually broke my toilet seat. guess its back to cleaning the toilet daily, uhhhhh

I'm helping potty train my grandson and needed something to improve aim, make training fun, and keep urine from going everywhere. This was the closest product I could find for the job. Everything else I had found has been discontinued. It came with a book and ink stamper ,which my grandson loved. He liked that it talked to him, but the speaker went kaput pretty fast. I wish it was a little bit higher to block those misfires. Would have gotten 5 Stars if speaker had held out and was taller.

Works just like directions. Easy to install and blocks pee from going to the back of the toilet. The only downside is there is no way to clean behind it. Also when the seat pushes it down it touches the toilet water. (Or maybe our toilet water is just a bit higher than most) So it would be nice if it came apart to clean. My son love the little voice.

I came across this product while looking dr something (anything) to keep the pee from my two little boys (ages 5 & 3) who were already peeing standing up and my one big boy (husband) from going in between the back where the lid hinges are and dripping down the toilet to the base. I felt like I was cleaning the toilet a hundred times a day!! I requested the Splashdown trainer without the sticker and received it in no time at all with excellent customer service! A week later and the shield has significantly helped in keeping the pee in the toilet. I am a happy Mom and Wife and my bathroom doesn't smell like pee anymore! I would highly recommend this product as a toilet shield for boys. I couldn't find any other product like it. I think the company should sell the shield separately for the reasons I explained.

Product did not work

This is for boys who already potty trained and tall enough to use the regular toilet bowl. Otherwise, you will need to have a stool or step ready for them to stand on it to use toilet bowl.
