Does its job and does it well
These strainers seem quite durable, and I like how the handles have the two-fold purpose of hanging over the cup and making it easier to lift the strainer without burning yourself. Plus the caps not only serve as a handy coaster for the strainer when you're done with it, but they also slow the rate of cooling if you put it on while the tea is brewing.I second what others are saying about it being somewhat difficult to remove all of the wet leaves after brewing. I find that quickly flicking the strainer while running water through it gets rid of most of the leaves after 2-3 times.

the best infuser we've used
After trying a few different tea diffusers and being completely unsatisfied, we found these. The holes in the diffuser are the perfect size so no loose leaves get through. We tried bags, tea balls, nothing was as effective as these. I use them in stainless steel cups and traditional mugs. My husband will diffuse his tea into a large insulated stainless steel water bottle/cup overnight, it has worked great! It fits well over the large opening of his bottle. He takes it to work and has his "energy" tea all day. In the pictures are my lovely chamomile-rooibos tea I have nightly. Not only is this infuser the most effective we have found, it is also the most easy to clean! Rarely do we need to do anything but rinse it out when we're done with it.CONS:-They are very thin. On occasion my husbands tea leaves will get caught in where the top part with the "wings" on it is tacked onto the rest of the cup. It's not like we're doing extreme sports with it, so it really isn't a problem.PROS:-leaves/debris doesn't get through the tiny holes-easy to clean-the lid/whatever that extra thing that comes with it is perfect for when you take the infuser out of your mug as it catches all the excess juices that run out. This has been most helpful when transporting the device to the trash to empty it out.

Excellent product
This product is excellent. They are two sturdy stainless steel infusers with a lid/saucer. The holes are small enough to minimize tea flotsam in your beverage. They wash beautifully. We'll never use a tea ball or loose tea spoon again! As a bonus, while making Sun Tea I've discovered they perfectly fit in a Mason jar with a "regular" mouth! Now I need a really big Mason jar...

One excellant infuser
This particular item was a mis-ordered item but was the best mistake I have made this year. It may have been a pain getting everything in my basket but this item I didn't send back due to the small holes it has in stainless steel basket. I cannot make pots of tea and brew overnight due to the caffeine but this would be great for a pot of tea brewed overnight or a cup or two brewed for breakfast or afternoon tea. I would recommend this particular infuser for herb teas that one would make like turmeric and ginger.

Perfect Cuppa
For me, there is no better way to stave off those terribly chilly 70 degree nights here in the Southwest than with the perfect cup of hot tea. I found a local shop that has the best loose leaf tea blends, but until I discovered this infuser, I was a loser at the loose leaf tea game. In my quest to up my tea game, I tried what felt like every tea infuser on the market - OK, perhaps that is a stretch, but I most definitely tried numerous models, including the tea ball with a chain to drop into the cup, the tea ball with long handles, the two-piece, screw together tea infuser, and putting loose leaf tea in coffee filter in the coffee pot (my most desperate attempt). Nothing worked without otherwise spilling leaves until I discovered this set. The stainless steel is fantastic quality - surgical steel, to be exact. I don't plan on performing surgery with this set, but it's nice to know that the quality is top notch! The infuser fits standard and oversized mugs - the only size it doesn't work on that I've found is the smaller espresso type cups. Simply pour your choice of loose leaf tea in the infuser, pop in your mug and pour in the hot water, and in 3-5 minutes, you've got the perfect cup of hot tea. Once you are done steeping, place the infuser on the lid it comes to catch any liquid if you want to use again, or throw away the leaves. I like to use my Keurig (without the coffee pod) for hot water for an even faster cup. I gave the second infuser/lid set that comes in this package to a tea-loving friend, so its like another gift in one order! Cheers!
