Anchor Hocking is my favorite maker of glassware and containers. From my beautiful vintage ruby glass to the cup size containers I just bought, Anchor Hocking is sturdy, chip-free, and always comes in handy. I especially love how these single cup containers come with ruby red lids that match my vintage ruby glass perfectly! They’re absolutely perfect for serving tapas, condiments, clotted cream, or anything else that you might serve in small portions and pop in the fridge if there are leftovers. The lids are especially handy if you want to serve things outdoors but keep the bugs out. They’re SO handy!!!

We purchased these containers because we didn't want to send out daughter to school with plastic containers. So far, these have held up for more than a school year, without a single chip in the glass. The lids fit tightly and don't leak. The glass is also nice because it doesn't stain or smell, and since it resists scratches, it is always easy to get clean. In the unlikely event we have to replace these, I'll gladly buy more.

The size is perfect and as I expected. The lids seem a little flimsy to me but they seal great and do the job. One warning, I usually remove the top and then lay it down on the container again but moved off to the side to let steam out when I'm heating in the microwave at work. I heated for 2.5 minutes and there is a small hole that melted into the top. Everything is fine and the lid still works. I just changed my method and don't heat the lids. They wash up great in the sink or dishwasher. Works great for me.

The reason I bought these for storage of fridge foods instead of Made In China junk is, they're Made In America. And now I understand why we all should INSIST all our kitchen gadgets regardless what, should be made in our country.I've bought so many items that are Made In China & they either fall apart, break easily or leave some unknown (possibly harmful) residue on the food we eat.These are so good. That's why this is my 3rd order for these GLASS (Not Plastic) storage containers.Oh yeah, lest I forget...my fridge doesn't smell of onions now with these containers. The Glass is impervious to odors & the really high quality rubber lids stay on beautfiully.ALL DISHWASHER SAFE TOO.Excellent Choice for the American Kitchen

I love these containers. I have switched all my plastic containers over to glass. The lids occasionally break, but luckily you can buy replacement lids. If you have a Home Goods store near you, buy them there. $5 for 3 container when they have them in stock. These are small, but perfect for small portions. I like to freeze my portions, run some warm water on the bottom, pop out disc and then vacuum seal. When you want to reheat or defrost, just pop back in container.

I love these storage containers. From fruits and veggies to halved avocados (with pit), they store and wash great.I hand wash the lids, personal preference. However, I do put the glass dishes in the dish washer. Highly recommend. Great size and price

Ordered the 2, 4, & 7 cup assortment. Got 3 each of the 2 cup size. They are nice, but I would have liked to try different sizes to determine what to buy more of.
