Not bad, but expected a little bit more for this money.
Good product, given the price, although I did expect a little more for this money.Very usable and fully modular.Missing a small screw through, but maybe it wasn't added in the first place ?!

Dropcam Compatible (*)
I purchased this with the intent to use it with a dropcam because I did not like the goofy looking gooseneck outdoor mounts out there. I was successful, but it requires removing most moving parts from inside the unit. You must use some McGyver skills to get the dropcam camera to mount inside. The stand that comes with dropcam is not used. Basically, you need to use some tie downs and bending some metal parts inside the unit. You also need to find a way to send a power source to the unit, I achieved this by purchasing a 6V 2amp power supply and splicing the power supply to the end of a micro usb cable. The reason you need a 6V source is because any distance greater than 10' to 15' will lose voltage over distance. By supplying 6V, you actually end up with 5V at the unit. My house was prewired for a camera for the front porch, so it ran about 30' from the media box in the closet to the front door. You will also need to account for heat dissipation since the dropcam runs a little warm since in Texas, the temperature runs a constant 90 degrees during the summer. I solved this by drilling two small holes in the lower and 3 small holes on the upper white plastic part of the mount. This allows air to travel from the bottom through the unit and out the top. I used a 1/8" drill bit so that critters won't be tempted to crawl and live inside. These holes were not noticeable at all from a distance. Surprisingly with the small holes in place, audio clarity was maintained and a conversation can still be had through the microphone and speaker system of the dropcam.Because the dome will reflect the infrared light at night, we had to program our front porch lights to turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. The night cam feature was turned off. Otherwise, you get a nice reflected view of the camera lens in the dark.I tested with a Dropcam HD and not a Dropcam Pro nor Nestcam. I am getting 720p resolution and it has been in place for a few weeks now without issues. Will report back if there are any heat or other unforeseen problems like condensation.Update: 11/18/2015. I have attempted to set up a Dropcam Pro and Nestcam like this and have had difficulties. It seems the newer cameras do some sort of initialization routine that checks to make sure the unit has proper connection within stricter parameters for voltage, amperage, resistance?? before it will connect by wifi. My dropcam HD is still working fine after a few months and have not had issues with heat or moisture.

Bon mais ...
Bonne grandeur mais les pièces détachées sont difficiles à assembler (pas de vis) pour de meilleur résultat . Suggéré pour des personnes qui peuvent bricoler un peu

Recommend that you put sizing in the ad so that ...
Not what I was hoping for and no specs on-line for size. I'm looking for a removable cover for an Ouvis veezon VZ1 HD inside camera and this, unfortunately does not come close. Recommend that you put sizing in the ad so that people can, like me, will know that it won't fit.
