Ortocanis - Carpal Support for Dogs with Arthrosis, Ligament Injuries or Unstable Carpus, Size XL

This is the second one of these we bought. its a lot of money, but when your dog needs it got to spend. The first one we had, a strap came off and the stiffeners fall out. We limped along with a strap we bought and wrap around and no stiffener They have a velcro closure to hold them in, but they come out the side with the stitching coming out and leaving side of the pocket open. That is another problem is stitching coming out. This latest one we got about 3 months ago, don't use it everyday. A stiffener came out lost in the weeds, but fortunately we had the one survivor from the last one. I've glued them in this time.

good support but could use better quality velcro

The braces seemed like they were doing a great job, but they ended up being horrible.We bought two braces to keep his legs even and him using both, per the vets recommendation. Both sides of our dogs swollen and damaged carpal joint developed hot spots, due to rubbing. The good leg even developed one hot spot. Unfortunately, we now are dealing with not only carpal damage, but two holes/sores from rubbing.On top of that, the Velcro starting rolling and not holding, getting caught on his bed, and pulling off. Horrible experience all around. We do not recommend.

Un vero tutore che impedisce movimenti al carpo, nel caso in cui si lasciano le due stecche inserite (comprese nel acquisto). Ottima chiusura doppia a velcro del tutore che impedisce al cane di toglierselo: in altezza un lungo e largo velcro e in circonferenza 2 altri velcro lunghi di circa 1,5 cm di larghezza.Le misure del tutore non corrispondono per bene, il mio cane ha una circonferenza di 12cm quindi ho preso la taglia L che risulta giusta, chiudendolo intorno al carpo non si raggiunge il velcro, servirebbe la taglia XL.
