Honey House Naturals Bee Bar, Sweet Honey, Large, 2 Ounce

I am not a traditional liquid lotion fan for my hands but have dry skin, especially during the winter. This product is 10/10 and my preferred go too. My mom got this as a gift, I want to say, 15 years ago? And we are still buying this and preferring it over other brands. Worth the cost and supporting a small business. Amazing product that works immediately and smells SO GOOD! This is not sponsored, we really just love this stuff.

I use this bar all over after shower to help with my winter dry skin, and I've started using it on my kid who's prone to eczema and keeps complaining about being itchy now that it's so dry here. It works great and lasts all day. I definitely go through it WAY faster than the 6 months they say the big bar will last, but I also use it all over. For me, the bar will probably last a month and a half to 2 months. Only thing I don't like is the smell of lanolin, but I'm weird. To me, anything with lanolin smells like a wet sheep, most people don't notice the smell. Even with that, I'm debating whether to order another because I think it's the lanolin that really makes it last all day! Amazon is great for trying things out, but if I decide to keep using this bar I'll definitely order directly from the sellers webpage, too. I also love that it's made just one state north of me, so relatively local!

Wow! I've had dry skin all my life and in my senior years the dryness has gotten worse. I saw this advertised and thought I'd try it. Kinda weird to apply via a bar rather than cream or lotion. But it leaves my skin silky smooth. Using it on my oh-so-dry lower legs and feet. Best product I've used for dry skin. will be ordering over and over.

I had initially purchased one of thew while camping from a store I believe in Benezette a few years back. It was a total lifesaver, a lotion that didn't irritate my hands, a strong, soothing vanilla scent, a deeper yellow in color, quickly warmed up with touch for a smooth application, and overall a product I was thoroughly in love with. That bar itself was 5 stars. Since then, I have ordered once through their website and once through Amazon, again both 2 oz vanilla bars. I've been slightly disappointed with my past two orders, which are lighter in color than my original one was, smell a bit stronger of beeswax, and less like vanilla than my initial one did. At first, I'd wondered if I'd mistakenly gotten a different scent as it smelled so different than my original (which I do have the tiny remains of). My third bar smelled as the second. I keep one of my newer bars at work and one at home, as they are, truly, the only thing that protects my hands in the winter and keeps them from getting too dry and cracking too bad. They even work over my eczema patches without irritating them. Both newer bars don't slide on as easily, it seems to take them longer to warm to a melting point against the skin I guess? Maybe from more wax? I don't know if the formula changed, or if I got a bar at first that was just a fluke mixed differently, but my older bar definitely had a stronger vanilla smell right of the bat, melted against my skin when rubbing over my legs easier, and was a bit darker in color. Either way, these are still through and through an awesome product, I just wish my newer two bars were as exceptional as the first (and I'm really hoping that maybe they'll have a stronger vanilla scent when I finish the outside edge of the bar and get closer to the center.) I'm kind of down to have gone from such an exceptional product to a slightly less exceptional one, though they definitely are way better than any other lotion I've tried, and I'm obviously still coming back for more!

OK, I am a dude with a newer skin problem that popped up over the last two years on my hands. I have eczema or some kind of contact dermatitis that has not totally healed or resolved since my first area of irritation. My skin on my hands and knuckles would dry, flake or peel, to the point that where the cracks are were bleeding and very painful. I have tried every kind of lotion, cream, medicated and non-medicated out there. Yes, the Gold Bond, Noxzema, Neutrogena, Eucerin, hydrocortisone, and every other kind of healing creams that are 12-15 dollars for a small tube out there. They have helped very little until a co-worker, recommended this product. This is the first product that after just two days now, I am seeing fantastic results. I bought three tins in different scents and I like the Vanilla or the Hawaiian the best. Although the sweet honey smells good, but more florally than I would like for a guy. I don't have a greasy feeling once I get a generous amount applied but it does take a bit (like all others) to "soak" in before touching things like cell phone screens don't leave greasy marks. This product is as good or better than most concern the greasy feeling. This is a wonderful product and I will have a tin ready for use at home, work etc, from here on out. You better buy some before I buy it all out.

This was exactly what I wanted. I have used a similar lotion bar for many years and the farm no longer sells it. So happy to find this! If you have cracked skin on your finger, put this on before bed and by morning it’s almost gone. I love this for healing skin—like chap stick for your hands.

I first purchased the small size. It smelled like sweet honey and is a nice portable balm. So I purchase the larger size, same balm but smells completely different. It has a fake grape scent to it. I'll still use it but it's not the same nice scent as the small size.

This is an amazing product. To address a couple of negative reviews I've seen: yes, it's hard. It's a lotion bar. Good lotion bars don't melt when they're sitting around your house, so they're hard. To use them, you hold them until your body heat melts them and then rub the melted part on your skin. This isn't a product you can just pick up and swipe over your leg; it has to melt a little to work. THIS IS THE POINT OF A LOTION BAR. That said, this is a miracle product. I put it on my hands at night and can't believe how soft they are when I wake up. I've been using it on my problem areas too (knees, elbows, ankles). It does sit in the skin for a little while before it soaks in, so be prepared for a few minutes of feeling greasy - but the softness that follows is so worth it. The scent is luscious too - I got vanilla. While the bar itself smells fairly strongly (though not overwhelming), once it's on your skin it's just a very light, sweet scent. You can smell a little bit of honey note in the background. I'm addicted and bought several more bars after this first purchase so I can have one in my purse, one in the bathroom, and one at my bedside. Awesome awesome product.

Absolutely in love with this! Received one as a gift about 6 years ago and pulled it out again recently, with all the pandemic handwashing my hands are dead. I have dyshidrotic eczema, this is not a cure and the eczema is under control for the most part, this is one of the few products that doesn't irritate and provides relief. I was surprised that after years in a drawer, the bar was still good as new, no gross old smell that lotions get. Ordered a new one before the old one was used up so I was able to compare, the old bar was just as good as the new one. It's not greasy or sticky, the scent is lovely and not overwhelming. I love that you only use as much as you need instead of getting a big squirt of goopy lotion. I'll definitely continue buying!
