I have a schipperke rat terrier mix that barks constantly at everything and everyone except for me for some reason. He barks more than my chihuahua. I hate the idea of shock collars because I don’t think hurting the animal is a solution and may just end up making them aggressive in the end.This collar has an adjustable vibration mode which doesn’t hurt the dog. It might be slightly irritating, but my dog shows no signs of being in pain. I put it on him right out of the box because there was a charge on it. It’s like he’s a completely different dog. I don’t know if dogs can have adhd, but if they can mine definitely has it. He not bark once when my kids entered the room, didn’t bark at the neighbors pulling in, and weirdly enough, he was even a lot calmer than usual. You are supposed to remove it when playing and only let them wear it for no more than 12 hours. It’s not a permanent collar, just a training device so that your dog will eventually learn when it’s okay to bark and when it’s not (in our case, when he sees other people and in the middle of the night). It does occasionally get activated when my chihuahua barks but he has to be literally right up next to him for that to happen. I noticed this was what prompted my Schipperke to not bark when he normally would. He immediately associated a bark to the vibration and I have it set to the lowest setting. Obviously the results and vibration level will vary by dog, but it’s worked so well for my dog that he’s even going in his crate on his own at night and doing other things we couldn’t get him to do before. It’s somehow just made it a lot easier to train him overall.

Love that this collar is truely waterproof, the charging function is magnetic, so there are no ports where water can get in and possibly damage anything. The collar box is slim so works well for smaller dogs, not overly bulky. The buttons are on the backside so cannot be accidently pushed by kids or other pets grabbing or biting at the collar when playing. The screen is easy to see and has colors and intuitive symbols so its all easy to use. The online instructional video makes it super fast to learn all the features. HiI bought a similar product last year and the seller asked me if I could test this new collar for them.The good:The collar is very nice and easy to put on the my dog. The probes are built in which I live some the previous version of the collar you had to screw the probes in. That is huge improvement.The bark is noise activated so if you have multiple dogs, it could set it off while the dog with the collar is quiet.What could be better?The charging port uses the two contacts (magnetic). It would be better using USB-COverall is a good product and easy to configure. I like the vibration and beeping settings so the dogs knows when to stop barking.Thanks
