After dealing with soft silicone ring adjusters slipping around and trapping water while I'm typing and packing e-commerce orders, I wanted a more permanent solution for my loose wedding band. These metal ring guards are old-school but incredibly effective. You get a variety of sizes to match your specific band width, and once you fold the prongs down, the guard is absolutely locked in. It feels much more secure and professional than the plastic spiral coils. WHAT WORKS: • The metal construction is highly durable and stays firmly in place without spinning on your finger. • The 12-pack comes with multiple widths, making it easy to find a flush match for different styles of rings. THE CATCH: • You will definitely need a small pair of needle-nose pliers to get the metal prongs bent tightly around your ring. Trying to push the metal tabs down firmly by hand is frustrating and won't give you a comfortable, snag-free fit. THE BOTTOM LINE: A highly secure, durable way to resize a loose ring if you are willing to spend a few extra minutes installing it with the right tools.

These are a disappointment. I was hoping this would solve my loose ring issues. But sadly they are incredibly poorly designed and made from extremely cheap thin brassy colored strips of unrefined metal . There are a little tricky to put on another big problem was honesty. They hurt when you slip on and off the edges are kind of sharp. They smell honestly kind of coppery after wearing for a bit overall, I hate it and have now ordered from another site a different style. Hopefully that will help ,but this was just a total waste. I don’t recommend them. And as for the price completely not worth it for something of such poor quality and design.

The item solved the problem of a slipping ring. It is simple to apply, and is comfortable to wear. the color blends with the ring, a good all-around buy.

The sizer is temporary. Mine lasted only 1 week. I do have many others to use but not all will fit.

I had to ask my husband to put on with jewelers tools.

Giving this product 2 stars because although it technically does what it should, it causes damage to the jewelry once installed. First off I’ll start by saying that there are two different types of ring guards that come in the package, a flexible plastic one which wraps around the band, and a metal one that is supposed to “hook on” to the bottom of the ring and help it to fit better. Well, i installed the metal guard in hopes it would stop my engagement ring from spinning until i could get it resized, and the first thing i noticed was the arms on the guard that wrap around the ring were much too long, so i had to kind of overlap the arms of it which was annoying, but understandable since it’s meant to fit all band widths. The problem started when i noticed it had actually caused some scratches on my ring, and sadly affected the engraving my fiancé had put on the inside of the band. The product also did not prevent the ring from spinning around on my finger, and since the arms had to be folded over and overlapping it didn’t really have a tight fit and would move around the band even at some points overlapping the pave diamonds along the sides of my ring. The gold also tarnishes quickly on the metal guard. After seeing it had caused some damage and wasn’t really working the way i had wanted it to i switched to the plastic ring guard that also came with this set. The plastic ring guard has worked much better, and helps to protect my ring from any scratches that would be caused by everyday wear however, my ring still spins around on my finger and i often have to adjust the plastic guard to keep it from covering up my side diamonds on my band. I wouldn’t personally recommend this for engagement or wedding bands, maybe for costume jewelry or a piece you don’t care much about as a quick fix. I’m sure there are better ring guards out there, it’s worth going for something more expensive to protect your ring, than something cheep like this.

THESE ARE THE ONLY RING ADJUSTER ON THE MARKET! They actually stay on! Also, don’t fall off from water exposure. Had mine on my new wedding ring until I can get it sized.

Don't use these much, but really nice when I do need them.

Brilliantly simple idea. Used the coil cut to about 10mm now the ring fits perfectly and is comfortable to wear. Thoroughly recommend
