I wanted a button to open a garage door inside a locking key lock box outside of garage instead of those keypads that needs batteries. I used one of these and wha-La, it works perfect. I simply drilled a hole in the key lock box and mounted to wall outside garage.

if youre looking for an horn button or something similar these are great for keeping a clean incognito look. only drawback is there is no illumination so if thats necessary you'll want another switch
