These taste SO GOOD they’re like healthy applejacks

These are not what I expected. Every now and then I hear someone extolling the value of “granola bars” of one brand or another. Call me a cynic, but I think they are all just candy bars of some sort. When it comes to snacking though, it feels better, and far less guilt is fostered eating something healthy. So if I eat a granola bar, I am much more healthy than if I ate a chocolate bar. That is not a rationalization. And even if it is, I feel less guilty. I was surprised when I opened the bag and poured a few crisps onto my plate. They were very light. The same “light” as Cheetos puffs. But obviously, being an apple and healthy, much better for all of us than those cheese crisps. That is my story, and I’m sticking with it. I expected something chewier, and sweeter. These are not chewy, nor are they particularly sweet. Less sweet and juicy than an apple, but there is a satisfying crunch and taste. When I first tried, I was disappointed in the Styrofoam feel when I initially bit down. But as I chewed, that dry, soft, airy texture tasted like apple with a dusting of cinnamon. Not bad. The chips in the bag range in size, and there are whole and broken wedges. I was very pleased to discover that there is nothing other than apples or cinnamon. No sugar. No high fructose nonsense. Just apples and cinnamon. On reconsideration, I like the low calorie snack after all! 130 calories in the entire bag! There is a place for apple crisps as a healthy snack. Fiber, antioxidants, healthy fat and sugar. I can find a way to substitute, say, for granola candy bars!

These were great. Very tasty, theyre a tad bit on the pricey side, but honestly they taste exactly like you'd expect and that was satisfying. I love apple cinnamon flavored things.

These freeze dried cinnamon apples are great for a quick, healthy, on the go snack. There's only two ingredients - apples, and cinnamon. Nothing more. The kids seem to like them a lot. I think they're pretty tasty, too. My issue, however, is the very high price tag. You get 6 bags that are 1.2oz each (7.2oz in total), for $26.99. That's crazy. That's not even half a pound. That's also why I won't be reordering. I can't justify such a high cost.

These ended up being kinda gross to me, I guess I'm just not a fan of freeze dried apples. They smelled very bitter, tasted even worse, and then got all goopy and slimy in texture once I started chewing on them. Just nasty. So I ended up using them as animal snacks. An opossum loved them as his special little treats! Every time he heard the bags crinkle he would get very excited and start pacing his cage waiting for his snackies. So, because he loved them so much, I am giving them 5 stars. I, however, would NEVER put these nasty things in my mouth again.
