quite useful as a basic initial introduction to Charlotte Mason if you have never come across any of her writings before. But you can read pretty much all the information in this book for free by surfing blogs/websites. But handy if you want it all in one place and are totally new to the CM method.

A brilliant place to start
If you have only just heard the name charlotte mason and want to know more without committing to the lengthy series of books this is a brilliant place to start (which is how I came across it) I'm now toying with the idea of purchasing the full series but I'm glad I read this brilliant overview first.
