Decent neck strap
This is a padded neck strap which is comfortable enough. The material is a little scratchy. I have a more comfortable tenor neck strap, which is why I’m giving this 4 stars as it is expensive enough to warrant softer material.

Easy to put on, takes the weight and makes it soooooo comfortable to play!
I received a standard neck strap with my tenor saxophone and found that I was really struggling with weird sensations in my neck followed by outright pain after a very short time playing every day. I was looking at all sorts of alternatives and took the plunge with this one. I am so happy I did! It is easy to put on by slipping over the neck and putting your arms through like a jumper! You can then make the adjustments required on the shoulder straps and waist straps. I had it just right within a couple of minutes. The clip for the saxophone is sturdy and feels like it has a good grip. The harness isn't uncomfortable or tight at all, it just feels reassuringly right! When the saxophone is clipped on the weight is so nicely spread it hardly feels like holding anything at all. It also stays in the same position with no slippage. I can't believe how effective this is and I've just had a good hour long session with no ill effects whatsoever. I'm glad I invested in this one rather than the cheaper versions as I think its a good quality item that is going to be so great for me in the future so that I can get on with enjoying playing rather than rubbing my neck!If you've found this review helpful I'd be glad if you'd click the helpful button! Good saxophone sling
Fine for soprano, alto or tenor saxophone or bass clarinet. It has a clip that closes, so it won't accidentally come off and cause damage to the instrument. Easy to use. Probably the best sling currently available.

great harness
This sax harness isn't just for men although I guess it fits them too. It's a good harness for anyone on alto or tenor - I use mine for both - and it's a budget option compared to the more expensive (although arguably superior) neotech harnesses which I'd recommend to bari players or larger-than-average sax players. If you're wondering whether to ditch your neck strap and move to a harness then JUST DO IT - your neck is a valuable asset! And this is a good option if you don't want to spend too much, you're an average size, and you play on alto or tenor.

Puts pressure on shoulders
I had to return this item, hence the 3 star rating. The quality of the product is great, but I suffer from muscular pain in my shoulders, neck and back and thought this would be better to wear than my present harness (one which goes around my neck). This was far worse. I tried to play just one song, wearing the strap, but the area that the strap rested was on the muscle down my shoulder blade where I suffer the pain. The company I purchased from did not hesitate to refund my money. This may suit others who do not have the same problem as I have, because it did take some pressure off my neck.

Useful for kids finding their sax playing is a strain on their neck or back
This has helped my son a lot with being able to play sax without aching neck and shoulders. It's important to make sure you adjust the harness so that your child has their sax in the right position and not leaning their head forward or straining their back - watch their posture while they are playing to see they look comfortable & adjust the fit if not. This can be a great tool, especially for kids for whom a heavy instrument can be quite difficult to manage.

Helped encourage my daughter to play more
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter as her alto sax is very heavy snd was making her neck ache. The neck pain was stopping her from wanting to do her practice. This strap distributes the weight across her shoulders and she says it is much more comfortable.

and it is a good strong harness
I bought this for my 11 year old son, and it is a good strong harness, adequately comfortable, (good with a jumper underneath). It is borderline too small for him now though with the straps at the fullest extent. He is 145cm/ 4ft 9 tall.
